The games a story mode it's the same for all of us.

So you're saying it wasn't only me that Marco Reus bumped into in the corridor? Made my debut at Anfield and came on at 1-1. Scored to make it 2-1 but conceded shortly afterwards before Marc Albrighton scored an OG in the last minute. The tit.

To be honest, my heaviest defeats have been to people using ****ing Callum Wilson and Marcus Rashford as opposed to the greats. I've only seen one Suarez and it was a loan card. Tbh given the injuries in this, first time I see a Messi I'm just going straight through the back of him with Hasebe.

Scripted is right. 1-0 up v Wigan (thanks to me, They then score 2 of the most bullshit, scrappy , bundled over the line like wtf the keeper was doing I don't know kind of goals, 1-2, I equalise, then complete my hat trick, then they score another properly shit goal, and I have a final chance to win it when suddenly the game takes away my shooting ability and I scuff it to the keeper

As someone who likes seriously in depth stories and RPGs with eighty odd hours of gameplay, the Journey sounds like the antithesis of what gaming should be.

It's all an extension of the "Champion mode" in Fight Night Champion, telling stories in sports games is all the range these days. This one, so far, is tolerable to enjoyable, I don't know why as it should be awful, they flood the team you sign for full of fake players because obviously it's impossible to have a story mode where no one talks and only about four players in world football are in the cast and the story is so on rails and clearly not real it's painful but I dunno, seems to work for some reason. Plus you get rewards for UT so worthwhile

AKCJ Posted 3 October 2016 Posted 3 October 2016 The actor that plays Hunter has either done a shit job or has been told to do a shit job. The lad is 17 years old supposedly. He should be a bit rough around the edges considering his supposed pass but he has all the charisma in the world. It's weird. I don't look at him and think "that's a kid". I look at him and think "that's an actor". The other characters are all played reasonably well. The actor that plays Walker is fine. The most cringeworthy scene is the one on the plane flying back from the preseason tour. He's talking about "los blancos" as if any 17 year old lad from London has ever referred to Real Madrid as "Lod Blancos" EA have missed the mark by a long way. So, so out of touch.
