Detroit Blues Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Good pass by Fuchs there to start the attack. Poor finishing effort there though.
DB11 Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 For amount of goals scored, the tournament has been shocking so far really. It's too cagey, too much not wanting to lose, than playing to win. It'll open up with the second wave of games I suspect. To be fair he'd probably do better than the current lump they have upfront. Not scored in club football since 2014.... That and with the new format three draws gives you an 80% chance of qualifying or something ridiculous I read
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 You're giving yourself the answer in your own post - first group stage games are usually a low-scoring affair, as teams don't want to risk too much from the start. Is that fact MC? I seem to remember there were quite a lot of goals scored in the first round of the last World Cup. But I could be talking crap. It's a funny decision really. Grab a win in your first game in this tournament (i.e. Play to win) and you're effectively through.
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Every two years people moaning that the first games in a tournament are cagey Jesus
AjcW Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Every two years people moaning that the first games in a tournament are cagey Jesus Don't think they have been either. I can't say I've been bored yet. It's just some teams are a bit more tactical/defensive. Which can be equally entertaining when it's done right. Just look at Italy!

First half of ROI was quite bad for the neutral. Picked up in the second. Edit: forgot Spain. Didn't watch that live, had it recorded and fast forwarded a lot of it. Dire.

StanSP Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Hungary score. The guy who hasn't scored in 18 months. wtf.
ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 every bet ruined by one Hungary goal what a disaster
Finnegan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 He's been the worst player on the pitch by a distance but that's a great team goal and his contribution was excellent.
ramboacdc Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 every bet ruined by one Hungary goal what a disaster same! fuchs played him onside too.
Guest Col city fan Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Unexpected bonus there! Hungary to score first looked great value at 10/3 so I thought fook it and chucked a tenner at it. 40 odd back..reinvested ten of it back on btts...before the sending off!
StanSP Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Fuchs is actually having a shocker . Kept the guy onside and having a lot of trouble finding his own team-mates with passes!
ScouseFox Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 the most positive contribution fuchs has made is twice kicking the ball out so a stretcher could come on
PhillippaT Posted 14 June 2016 Posted 14 June 2016 Fuchs is definitely looking a bit slow, too - (I mean, I know he's not the fastest person in the world, but he looks a bit behind the game, too)
