Hatem Ben Arfa

Money isn't the issue here, it's attitude. You say you laugh at people that say no to Ben Arfa, yet it seems you still don't understand the major factor in us winning the league.

Fans thinking they know player's attitude; here we go again. How long has it been since you have seen him have any problems with anybody? Edit: Could you imagine him with Mahrez but in the number 10 position behind vardy. We would be electric.

So going by your logic, it'd be a wise choice to disrupt a Premier League winning squad by signing a well-known loose cannon because he's had a good season. We've already seen him here with Newcastle and Hull, he's not worth the trouble.

All you Naysayers make me laugh. Troy Deeney gerrrimiin!! 20mil no problem!! Ben Arfa on a free: No x10000.

I sort of see what you are saying but I don't think the price tags has much relevance in people wanting Deeney and not HBA.

Deeney clearly has an excellent attitude and would be an improvement on what we already have in that position where as HBA is an exceptional player but look at how he went off the rails at Newcastle.

Think about how we won the league, team spirit over individuals and then again ask yourself the question, Deeney for £20m or Ben Arfa for free.

I see things in far more complex terms than he has an attitude problem. There are a multitude of reasons for a player not doing what is expected of them or having confrontations with teammates. Nothing lately has point to him having any problems what so ever. The upside is gigantic and the downside very very low.

He comes across well in interviews he's done since his move to Nice and he's looked ****ing amazing so yeah I'd have him in an instant. Sounds like it was Pardew being a tosser more than anything

Very very low? Haha ok. He put on about 3 stone at Hull on loan and didn't train. He had a terrible attitude at Newcastle too. Shocking reports from managers when he's played in England.

No doubting he has incredible talent and ability but it's when teams are centred around him and he fancies it

We have incredible talent too in our squad but not one of our players has an attitude. We rate sociological factors before even looking at technical and physical ability.

Ben Arfa doesn't remotely fit the profile of someone's character we would look at.

I had inside knowledge of his antics at Newcastle. The only thing is it turned out the whole club was a shambles so maybe his poor attitude was born out of the shambolic "going ons" at the time.

played in same teamas Mendy last season, maybe he caught Walshies eye. Obviously very skillfull, but appears to have dodgy temperament. If the likes of Morgan/Huth can straighten outhis attitude could be a shrewd squad signing

Do tell Stan, it's what all Journalistes would do.

He's changed positions from a winger to being a central attacking midfield player so could probably play both.

Linked with PSG and Sevilla, would be a very exciting signing if we managed to get him

Hatem Ben Arfa closing in on future decision

Hatem Ben Arfa is currently in Brazil on holiday, but tomorrow could be crucial in terms of deciding his future, according to Le Parisien.

OGC Nice, Lyon, PSG and Sevilla are the only sides left in the race, according to the French newspaper.

Jorge Sampaoli is in love with Ben Arfa and Sevilla have in recent days become one of Ben Arfa’s most desired options. PSG are also among one of Ben Arfa’s most preferred destinations, but he wanted to work with Blanc and the uncertainty of the current manager situation is disadvantaging Les Parisiens in their pursuit of the former Newcastle United man.

OGC Nice and Lyon remain in the race, but are considered as secondary options for the moment

Probably the most talented player I have ever seen on a pitch. When it comes to absolute skills, there is no one better.

It has been an absolute privilege to have him in Nice, I don't think we ever had a player of that level.

However, there has to be a specific mindset in the team in order for him to give its best, and the team must deploy a specific style of play, based on possession and where he is free to do what he wants, without defensive tasks to do.

I won't come back to England, un-adapted championship and to many bad memories.

He is 99% in Sevilla, and I think it is the best club possible for him, even though I would have loved to see him another year with us.
