I Hatem the idea of this

Not entirely convinced he is that good but hey ho

I think we have to trust our scouts etc

Yeah we will have to see if the deal happens. It seems the transfer to Leicester is possible but not certain with the competition from other clubs for his signature.

One thing about him, hes had a really serious injury in the past

I wouldnt take a player who that had happened to.

I know Wasyl also had a serious injury, i just wouldnt personally take that player

This guy is pure class & one of the best dribblers around. Anyway, according to whoscored he played 18 times in CAM & 14 times CF last season. What a fantastic player to have to compete for Vardy's & Okazaki's position. Would be another great buy on a free.

I honestly think Ranieri could get the best out of Ben Arfa. He'd be a quality addition to our squad.

Just watched that video. How can anyone say they don't want this guy on a free? Definitely looks like he's shed them extra pounds. His acceleration looks frightening at times. GET HIM IN

People do realise that this wouldn't actually be a 'free transfer'?

We would have to pay a hefty signing on fee similar to Ayew - Swansea.

at 29, he's wasted a lot of time being a massive nobhead, hopefully he's chilled out a bit.

OMG!!! If this is true that he wants to come play for us and we get him on a "free" then this is an amazing opportunity with very little downside. Just imagine Mahrez on the left and Arfa on the right, pure filth!!!! We will terrorize teams.

That just looks like a video of someone who abuses the trick stick on FIFA playing against my dad.

The defending is woeful and how many times does he have no end product?

At what point he literally dribbles through the defence (fair play) then tries to roll the ball round the keeper instead of just ****ing shooting and the defenders get back and tackle him. What a pratt.

Really don't want.

Love how Finnegan is foaming at the prospect of Joe Allen but Ben Arfa is a resounding no.

Fvck me.

Complete opposite of a Leicester player. Got Arsenal written all over him. Spineless, lazy, inconsistent, injury prone.

I agree, but on a "free" I'd be happy to take a punt on this one. We need to be better at breaking teams down, and that type of player helps.

After only three defeats all season and finishing ten points clear of second place you feel we need to be better at breaking teams down ?

I get what Babs is saying. We won on a relatively low total, because we drew a lot of games where teams put a lot of men behind the ball.

I.e. we could have been better at breaking teams down.

But you'd take him because he's free!

That's championship mentality not champions league

6.5 million signing on fee

Wants a 3 year deal at 29

Could be risky going on his previous English career.

Plus you would also have to wonder why he was ignored by the French squad, after hitting 17 goals on home soil

You do realise that next season has the potential to be somewhat different don't you? That many more teams from the off are going to set up to frustrate us, just as they did towards the end of the season. It's about planning for what's to come.

Mahrez is the key for breaking down many tight games, someone else with that x factor, with so many games next season it's going to be important, not rely so heavily on him producing a bit of magic in tight games.
