StanSP Posted 26 June 2016 Author Posted 26 June 2016 I think mis matches like this one show why the format of this tournament does not work. so if the same happens in the Hungary vs Belgium game (2 teams on paper that are a mis-match, and 2 teams that finished top 2 in their groups), will the format of the tournament be blamed as well?
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Funny how players turn up for international football. Kroos has been really quite poor for Real this season yet he looks like a world beater at the Euros. Or in the case of many players...DONT turn up for international football
Dan Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 so if the same happens in the Hungary vs Belgium game (2 teams on paper that are a mis-match, and 2 teams that finished top 2 in their groups), will the format of the tournament be blamed as well? Be honest though, this format has seen these through, they're pretty crap.
Guest Col city fan Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Germany are one of the few international teams which play like a club team. Short post, but absolutely spot on. They play like a top Champions League side would do on a barmy evening in front of a big crowd. They attack with pace, they are exciting and control football matches with some superb players. Tonight's performances are the polar opposite from last night's. Quality and pace in abundance.
StanSP Posted 26 June 2016 Author Posted 26 June 2016 Be honest though, this format has seen these through, they're pretty crap. they've shown Germany too much respect. I'm not a fan of the format but you can't solely blame that when a team decides not to turn up.
Kitchandro Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Someone needs to show this to Hodgson. This is how you're supposed to beat a shit side, Roy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk But but but...I thought the Slovaks were a tight defensive unit who got 11 men behind the ball and parked the bus?
Nalis Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Someone needs to show this to Hodgson. This is how you're supposed to beat a shit side, Roy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Not its not, you do it by passing sideways and backwards all game and praising Lallana, Milner, Wilshere and Henderson on how technically gifted they are as a result of it.
Stadt Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Germany are actually organised when in possession, their players have options on the ball - we don't are any sort of structure meaning as soon as players get put under any pressure they go backwards
Raj Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Germany v Spain/Italy could be a cracker. Back to today though would love this so called golden generation of Belgium to get a good bloody whipping from The Hungarians. Fellaini n CO just come across as tossers for some reason!!! (probably just Fellaini then!!!)
Nalis Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Nainggolan came across as a right arrogant cvnt in that VT on BBC.
Cheese Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 This may have been mentioned elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed that it has become common for only one person to take the kick off. Is this allowed in the domestic leagues or just in Europe?
Finnegan Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 I didn't know Ben Marshall was so popular in Belgium.
Ross-Kemp Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 This may have been mentioned elsewhere, but has anyone else noticed that it has become common for only one person to take the kick off. Is this allowed in the domestic leagues or just in Europe? All the rules changed when someone stole your dinosaur cheese.Ball no longer has to go forward at kick off.

Is this allowed in the domestic leagues or just in Europe? The ball no longer has to go forward at kickoff so you can only have one player over the ball for the kickoff. **** off Belgium.
foxes21 Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 lukaku only looks good against shite defences. overrated player
the_tank Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Belgium should murder Wales They didn't in the qualifiers
Nalis Posted 26 June 2016 Posted 26 June 2016 Belgium should murder Wales They won't get a chance as Hungary are going to stage a comeback. Hopefully...
