Sharpe's Fox Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Looking forward to Wimbledon vs Franchise FC this year. In other news you thought Vardy's release clause was low http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/36758074
Wymsey Posted 10 July 2016 Posted 10 July 2016 Can see Coventry (haven't won promotion in who knows how many years) and Sheffield Utd giving it a good go, but surely Bolton will be up there. Doncaster will probably be champions with Crewe and those that went close last season in League 2 just behind them.

The stat is they haven't finished in the top six of any division for 46 years I think . Really is a sorry existence. Mind you they have won the FA cup in that time so I suppose that's something.

No top six since 1969-70. Last thing they won was the Birmingham Senior Cup
Fox92 Posted 11 July 2016 Posted 11 July 2016 League One yet again full of big sides.... Can't see past Sheffield United this season - think Wilder will finally get them out of the division - a lot of my mates have already liked what he's started doing there. Hope they come up, too. Think Portsmouth and Plymouth will be up there again in League Two.

In two months, on the same midweek nights, we'll be hosting the likes of Borrusia Dortmund, Sevilla, Dynamo Kiev and PSV whilst 25 miles away AFC Wimbledon and Oxford will be playing.
DJ Barry Hammond Posted 11 July 2016 Posted 11 July 2016 Reckon the Gas could suprise a few. Great support and established a winning mentality.

StanSP Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Sheff Utd 0-3 Southend within 15 mins. Peterborough 3-0 Millwall within 20 mins
Corky Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Ten years ago Sheffield United were about to play in the Premier League. Imagine a decade on you'd be playing your sixth season in League One, losing 3-0 at home to Southend to sit with one point and one goal from three games.
SemperEadem Posted 16 August 2016 Posted 16 August 2016 Those 15 minutes were something quite unbelievable.
Fox92 Posted 17 August 2016 Posted 17 August 2016 Had big hopes for Sheffield United this year with Wilder coming in. Really hope they go up at long last.
Wymsey Posted 3 September 2016 Posted 3 September 2016 Coventry still in relegation zone, after losing to Fleetwood. Hartlepool thrashed by Stevenage 6-1.
Northants Fox 3 Posted 4 September 2016 Posted 4 September 2016 Northampton 3-0 up against MK Dons in 28 minutes
Matt Posted 8 October 2016 Posted 8 October 2016 Did Peterborough have to build a seated stand at one end? Because no-one is in it. I always seem to remember that being quite full when we visited, tbh the whole ground seemed quite full when we visited, hardly anyone there today - Unless the came to watch us! Used to love going Peterborough, an enjoyed day out on a terrace.

The defeat during League One was an awful performance.
Fox92 Posted 9 October 2016 Posted 9 October 2016 Wimbledon have won 3-1 at Oxford. They are now above MK Dons.
