If we were to get Carvalho say, would we be dropping one of Kante or Drinkwater? Would he sit with one of Mendy, Kante or Drinkwater? would you not play with two up front? And in terms of us not having a "defensive midfielder" is Amartey not deserving of more game time? We've got one out and our defensive midfielder and he's about 39 and is pretty shit. Every time I've seen him play, he's looked woeful! I wasn't that aware of him before, but he looked superb for Portugal during Euro 2016.
