Get on with it and let them know that their kids/OAP fans will be paying £30 for a ticket... " money grabbing bastards them owners!
Foxy harry Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 This reminds me of when on football manager you have worked hard all season in the championship to get promoted you finally do it and then get given a transfer budget of 3m to try and stay in the premier league with. Whenever this happens I lose all interest in that career.
Super_horns Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 This is like the situation Derby had with Billy Davies when they came up - and look at what happened to them that season! Hull fans will hoping the same doesn't happen but its going to create upheaval and they will lose out on signings I suspect.

My god I hope he gets it, could you imagine the shit he'll get down here. I think it's happening, I just saw Junior Lewis dusting his old boots down.
Corky Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Bloke spent huge amounts of cash for little return. £65 million spent last time and they went down and struggled to come back with a fantastic squad in that division. It might not be the worst thing to happen.
UPinCarolina Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Gravity at work. What goes up, must surely go down...
Fox92 Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 This has been on the cards for ages. No surprise at all. Would laugh if he went back to Sunderland.
Great Boos Up Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Gotta feel for genuine Hull fans. Get promoted and end up with no manager, no signings, no fit players being led by a dictatorship son of the owner. And all within months of nearly winning the FA cup. I bet the fans hoped they'd actually lose the play offs. Even the players must think we are gonna be the whipping boys.
fuchsntf Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 How not to run a football club... I have in such situations sympathy with the Hull football fans. I can understand Bruce..hes getting no confirmed support from his management, and its nothing new, he had been asking and demanding movement, and financial support, for this campaign.

Tuna Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Here is the betting on skybet: have you ever seen anything more depressing? Would laugh so hard if tey ended up with McClaren. Neil Warnock 2/1 Mike Phelan 3/1 Ryan Giggs 3/1 Roy Keane 8/1 Steve McClaren 10/1 Tim Sherwood 10/1 Roberto Martinez 12/1 David Moyes 14/1 Nigel Pearson 14/1 Franck de Boer 16/1 Tony Pennock 20/1 Carlos Carvalhal 20/1 Roy Hodgson 20/1 Chris Coleman 20/1 Glenn Hoddle 25/1 Warren Joyce 25/1 Steve Evans 25/1 Harry Redknapp 25/1 Manuel Pellegrini 25/1 Micheal O'Neill 25/1 Gary Neville 25/1 Sean Dyche 25/1 Ian Holloway 28/1 Jurgen Klinsmann 33/1 Laurent Blanc 33/1 Nick Barmby 33/1 Phil Brown 33/1 Jimmy Hasselbaink 33/1
MC Prussian Posted 22 July 2016 Posted 22 July 2016 Well, which newly-promoted manager would want to go into a Premier League season with so much money flowing around in the league on general thanks to the new TV deal with almost half the squad injured and on a reported budget of £18m? That buys you 1 and 1/5 of a Joe Allen.
