How else do you expect a song to start off? 30,000 people just spontaneously bursting into the same tune at the same time? 

 

All songs sound a bit wank when someone first tries them because they take time to catch on. The "Ole's at the wheel" one everyone's rimming at the moment will have sounded wank when only 10 people were singing it at a Man United game first off.
