All songs sound a bit wank when someone first tries them because they take time to catch on. The "Ole's at the wheel" one everyone's rimming at the moment will have sounded wank when only 10 people were singing it at a Man United game first off.

Not sure the solution to that is to manufacture a rivalry with a team who play in a different country
