Tune: Breakfast at Tiffany’s chorus..

So this..

And I said, What about, Breakfast at Tiffany's?
She said, I think, I remember the film.
And as I recall, I think we both kinda liked it
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we've got

Into this..

Amartey,  Justin, Waut Faes and Timothy.

We said, we think, they defend us with skill.

When they’re on the ball, we think we all kinda like it

And We say, Leicester’s, best defence we’ve got

Variation on others I'm a believer

Now we got Wout Faes

And he's a hard bleeder

Likes to get

Some skin on his boots

He's our Wout woo

He's a hard bleeder

You can go near him

If you dare

Hopefully gets going properly at Everton, sounded much louder yesterday. Rqq

Yeah I wasn't there yesterday but a few fed back saying it had a decent airing.

UFS are taking a few buses next weekend so hopefully that coupled with a video (this is what it takes now) gets more joining in.

We have been looking for a Maddison chant for a while and I think that simply chanting his name worked well yesterday (whilst that was directed at grealish it was picked up on)

Was just coming on here to suggest this.

It’s the modern society we live in nowadays that new chants only seem to bang if they get shared round Facebook first 🙄

Everyone needs to start counting syllables before suggesting new songs. lol

First time i've ever really heard a lot of Leicester fans singing a song to do with our best player and it was an insult at Grealish.

Change the "Shit Maddison" that was sung on Saturday to "James Maddison" and you've got a really punchy chant that everyone will hear and sing.

None of this Chase the Sun bollocks that just gets mumbled.

First line is pretty damming on the support really.

Was not there on Saturday hence why asking, I'm assuming this was chanted to the ironic chant of 'we're winning away' melody?

I'm not sure of the melody off the top of my head. It's the same that Palace fans sing to "CPFC".

Yeah its that one. Blimey talk about dumbing everything down again.

It was a great chant. Absolutely nothing wrong with "dumbing down".

Rather the ground sang a loud chant for our players than 50-100 mumbling one?

I would just like better. I want our fans to sing unique or quirky stuff for players. I want our fans to want to break away from Sloop John B and just the latest fad chant. For them to be proud of having a varied and unique song book.

Biggest example of this is the Vichai chant, you had the opportunity to nail a terrace anthem for years but all you have is football league ditty thats fading in popularity. Shame as there was some good alternatives going around at the time.

A lot of it is openness to new stuff and a desire to actually sing.

The more I keep hearing this Wout Faes, now I’m a believer chant I think it could lift off.. it’s one of those everybody knows. Some versions may need tweaking but the Twitter choir have something there..

Personally think the Vichai chant is absolutely brilliant. Does it really matter that other clubs sing songs to the same tune?

It conveys the emotion of the supporters perfectly. Helps that everyone knows the words and melody and is why it's so often the loudest sung chant we have.

Pretty sure we don't have a single chant to the melody of that James Maddison one I suggested earlier either. Can't think of a single player for another club that has that sung for him either.

I hate to be a party pooper but the common theme with the Faes chants being suggested seems to be that they all hinge on his surname rhyming with the word "face", which it doesn't. Might not be a huge problem had we not already taken to shouting his first name in the style of the good old "HUUUUUUTH" whenever he clatters someone, which is also wrong - I think he deserves having at least one of his names pronounced correctly, bless him.

Here is the man himself with a helpful guide:

The name needs to be pronounced vaguely correctly. I know its a bit Yorkshire but:

You don't get 'owt with Wout!

Suggested a Madders song a while back ;- To the Forest get battered tune,

Maddison`s magic wherever he goes

simple, and accurate and he`d love it (this I know) it has no foul language which will upset many, but it sounds great! do we have a song starter on here?   let's do it
