They also spoke about Adrien ten mins ago and said we are still after him although 'it's slightly more remote' than the Slimani deal. Less likely basically.

Elias is almost signing to be an Adrien's back up on the bench. Lazar Markovic is coming in (Loan transfer from Liverpool) These are great news for us. Let's see what happens.

João Mário's replacement is either Campbell or Castaignos (which ever doesn't play as a second striker). Elias is clearly more suited for Adrien's role, along with Meli, as a backup.

I do agree with you that it is annoying when teams come in for your players, we have felt this all season with Kante, Mahrez and Vardy but fortunately only Kante left. It is the way of football though and there will always be a bigger team sniffing round your best players. We may not be bigger than you in terms of history and previous success, but we are bigger in terms of finances and the fact we are playing in (and current champions of) one of the best leagues in the world. Not many leagues can compete financially with the premier league.
