Don't think so. Some tedious links and a lot of unsubstantiated optimism are the only things keeping this alive I think.

 

Also don't get what some people have against our Portuguese visitors. They've added far more to this forum in 24 hours than quite a few posters have in an entire year :ph34r:

I am not holding my breath, but praying hard.

 

Our deals are always late, and touch and go. If we miss out, then it's too late to go for another option. Some things never change, but hey-ho.

i dunno about the people's club but Benicia definitely the taxi drivers club in Lisbon, every single one was a befica fan, even the one that drove us to the Jose alvalade ironically.

I feel for him as he wants to join us but at the price they're quoting it's just walk away Vichai for me.

 

I wouldn't go above £30 million.

 

We're not dealing with a rational individual. Sporting, Barca all these clubs with a membership base who elect Presidents end up electing some guy who promises the earth to get elected then goes on some ego trip for a few years.

 

Who knows maybe we're holding back so the Sporting board can say they drove a hard bargain to save face, but I doubt it.

I'm sure most of us think this is a no go but would like to be proven wrong. Nobody will be surprised with this a non deal but will be  quite surprised if it comes off.

I'm a reasonable guy, i understand the complex issues a club in our position faces during these transfer windows....If this doesn't go through i want Rudkin 'de-bollocked'.
