Kasper was probably our MOTM. Saved it from being 6 or 7. Dunno what he was doing at the end.

Liverpool very impressive but we offered fvck all.

Schmeichel - 7 - some really good saves but ruined his day with a mad dash out for the 4th goal.

Simpson - 4 - Poor.

Morgan - 1 - Totally lost the plot. The defence as a unit were all over the place and he as the captain has to take some responsibility for that too.
Huth - 4 - None of the defenders deserve any credit really.

Fuchs - 1 - Doesn't even look fit. Nowhere to be seen far too often. Just a dreadful display.

Mahrez - 2 - Pointless and totally ineffective apart from one ball Vardy should have bagged.
Drinkwater - 4 - Well below his best, but was playing too deep again.

Amartey - 1 - Completely at fault for the first goal and was just generally well short of what was required in that role. Didn't tackle, track back and was woefully out of position consistently.
Albrighton - 4 - Didn't cover Fuchs well and had no impact on the game.

Okazaki - 2 - Everything that came to him bounced off. Okazaki at his worst.
Vardy - 5 - Scored an easy chance. Missed another cast iron one. Wasn't really in the game.

Subs
Hernandez - 3 - Isn't a right back, he doesn't really know the position and is too slow.

Musa - 3 - He doesn't realise what is expected of him in this team. Up front he doesn't come deep and out wide he doesn't make sensible decisions. He looks all pace and nothing else. He doesn't have the football ability or brain for this level. I can't see why we signed him.
Ulloa - 7 - Actually did fine when he came on but had little impact with no service and ended up having to come too deep.

kasper our best player.

wasnt watching for their forth goal but i assume kasper was just in the habit of coming out and doing our defenders job for them.

mahrez, pull your finger out man! i dont care if you mince around for 89 minutes and forty seconds as long as you provide one moment of magic.

at the moment youre just a waste of space:cry:

After that I'm not looking forward to champions league. We look so open at the back.

We've lost Kante who protected the defence and doesn't look like we've replaced him. Granted, Amartey was good against Swansea.

Back four need looking at. Both centre backs are to old for me. So easy to get in behind them.

And on top of that, Raneiri getting rid of our other right backs and now Simpson is injured we end up with a centre back out of position.

4's and 3's all round I'm afraid. Gave Drinkwater a 5 and Musa because he did alright until he got shunted out wide for no reason.

Woeful all round except Kasper, but then he ruined it at the end with the rash decision to come charging out.

Mahrez was no worse than the others so he shouldn't be the scapegoat. He's always double marked now and it's time others stepped up to the plate.

Musa is lacking a football brain. Consistently making the wrong decisions.

Schmeichel 6

Defence 1s for morgan and fuchs

Midfield 1 for amartey (which I felt bad about as he seemed to try)

2s for Albrighton, Mahrez, Okazaki and Vardy

Dont even care about anyone else. Musa tried but needs to be selfish.

i think we played a 1- 0-9-1 formation - with the 9 playing like a local park team

the new boys are 1/2 yard off the pace

Defence today was virtually non-existent - they played a line that the opposition totally ignored, zero movement and zero brain

Virtually no help for the defence, Amartey ran around like an idiot - someone really should tell him what to do.

Musa totally off the pace, not an idea in his head

passes almost non existen, corners terrible, even throw ins were pathetic

Useless really -very sad

I actually gave everyone 1... Except Vardy just for scoring , other than that he missed a sitter and looked off the pace. I'm sure they'll play better as the season goes on but right here right now, relegation performance

Thought Drinkwater was the best player, though gave ball away a few times. Vardy wasn't bad either.

Schmeichel shouldn't have gone out for final goal,  as that action was rather near halfway line.

Musa does seem all about pace, hope Slimani is more effective in box.

4s, 5s all round for me. Actually thought Mahrez was one of our better performers. There were periods when he looked like the only person capable of making anything happen. He wasn't as noticeably inept as Hernandez, Morgan, Amartey, Okazaki. I thought he worked pretty hard, which is more than I'd say for Drinkwater whose head went down after their second. Amartey lacked concentration, which I thought was inexcusable. He's still a very bright prospect but we need to look for other solutions.

I'm worried about fitness levels. I don't know how much of that is down to the pre-season programme, but Morgan, Huth, Fuchs, Albrighton and Vardy all seem to be half a yard slower than last season. Have we started to lean less on the Sports Science department?

The standard of post-Kante signings is a concern. It's very early days for some of them but nobody signed since last August looks like they can fit comfortably into the side.

I've got no clue what the solution is. A fully fit Albrighton and Schlupp may be needed if we go to 3-5-2 (based on what worked last time round). Someone mentioned a 4-3-1-2 with Mahrez behind Slimani/Vardy. It could work, but it sounds dangerously close to a diamond. I don't know whether Vardy works in a 4-3-3 (who would run the channels?) and, as it stands, the 4-4-2 might be a tough ask without either Kante or a clear replacement. At a push, I'd say tweak the 4-4-2, but who knows.

Nobody above 4, kasper made some good saves but cost us as well.

Poor score for Claudio 3 I thinks fair, claudio to stay, Liverpool 7 good, we made them look better.

The ref poor, still to find a decent, consistent ref yet this season.

Schmeichel our best player today I thought, made some great saves.

I'd have Drinkwater as Leicester's MoM. At times he seemed to be driving the team on  his own. He was everywhere trying to do a job or make something happen and his determination could be seen if every action, mistakes or not.

It's difficult to get the balance right with the personnel we have.

I've had enough of Schmeichel.

His distribution puts us under pressure game in and game out.

He come for utterly stupid balls. Fourth goal being a prime example.

Second goal he should be narrowing the angle.

He's brilliant in a one on one and made some important saves today but it's error after error after error.

He winds me up.

Schmeichel  5- for his saves but knock 1 off for the long passes to the opposition...it just puts us back under pressure.

Defence 2-Don't look fit, possibly getting too old?

Drinkwater 5 for effort

Amerty 2- looked clueless.

Riyhad 3- doesn't look interested

Allbrighton -  5 for effort

Shinji 1-  please stay on your feet.

Vardy 5- for the goal

Hernandez 2- not a right back

Musa 2 - Isn't getting it at the moment

Ulloa 5- Had some nice touches but has the pace of a Nissan Micra

 Claudio 5

Ref 4

Liverpool 7+ very good at times

I think we looked very very poor today...we looked like a one trick pony.

I'm hoping that we are going to find a lot of things out when we have to start rotating. Maybe Kapustka will be the dark horse? Dimmy may step up to the plate? Slimani may be a god send? time will tell, but I think we will really regret not strengthening the midfield and defence. and I get the feeling that January can't come soon enough.

Early days though.....surely we haven't become a shit team in 3 months?

We lost the game in midfield didn't think our defence did to much wrong. Thought Marez was the only player looking capable of doing something but needs more support from other players.

Shot stopping, it's hard to find better, but the rest of his game, is meh.
