What a load of drivel. He is not a leader of men and not a great captain.

He was also struggling at this level u till Huth arrived and I dare say would struggle without him now. Wes has been a good servant to our club but is a long way short of the Op's claims. Walsh or Elliott were both far better.

I think this is going over a few people's heads. I've got to say I've pretty much stopped using our social media pages, and have started using this forum far less. Can't complain though when the extra attention comes from our success.

Both, along with others have had lots of praise and attention. the subject of this thread is Morgan and, while it wouldn't be my style, the core sentiment is worthy enough - and then some.       

 

Morgan's arrival has been followed by unparalleled success and there have been aspects of his leadership well worth commending.

 

His unflinching willingness to put himself in danger to prevent a goal, his professionalism in doing a combative job   in such a way as not to constantly give uncecessary free-kicks or penalties away, his consistency in giving of his all, his marshalling of the  shape of our back line and the respect he commands from those around  through the example he sets.

 

There are days, as with all sports people, when things go badly but who could have expected the number of clean sheets we kept last season for the quality of opponent we were facing - itself a tribute to ability and organisation in which Morgan played a key part.

 

Steve Walsh was perhaps the spirit of Leicester at the time and Elliott his quietly effective sidekick but there is no way Walsh eclipsed Morgan as a defender. Indeed, he'd have done well to stay on the field at all with today's pedantic refereeing although Huth's mostly managed it so far so maybe even the most reckless combatants can adjust. 

 

But with Morgan he's almost always disciplined as a hard case and reminds me more of Pontus Kaamark for the calmly effective way that he so often makes a difficult job look easy. For me he's been a 10/10 contributor in the outstanding chapter of our long history and if one of our fans chooses to sing his praises, it's thoroughly well deserved.      .

Morgan has been brilliant for us these last few years and lets not forget he plays all the time and in the summer with Jamaica too so hardly ever gets a rest. he is an ever present and captain fantastic and he and Huth have a great partnership and learned a lot from each other

Drinkwater was struggling at this level, so was Mahrez, Vardy etc.

 

 

A player will always be judged on their achievements, if Walsh and Elliott were better, why was our defence always more porous than last season?

They did not have Kanye sat in front of them. I am not saying he is not a good player he is. But I think the OP is way over the top that's my point.
