England v Spain - 20:00

I can't remember the last time England played such a positive forward thinking direct attacking style. It's totally suited to Vardy and Lallana as Vardy has proved with a pen and a goal. This is what England have been lacking under repressive managers like Hodgson and Allardyce.

Spain aren't fielding their strongest side but even so, no-one plays to lose a game.

Hoddle is a right ****, he seriously doesn't like Vardy doesn't he. Bet if it was one of his spurs boys he wouldn't be criticising him so much.

Spurs boy himself, isn't he. Chip on his shoulder from last season still- always seems to be Spurs fans criticising him for diving on twitter. Unsurprising really, you can imagine how much some of his gamesmanship wound them up in the title run-in :scarf:

Not just the style of play that is good. Southgate is on the touchline constantly talking and you can see the passion he has when we score. That has to be 100x better then Hodgson sitting there moaning and looking clueless.

Germany it was and from then on we decided to play slow football with zero penetration since, plus Vardy was a big part in that too... set the tone of this game just wants to get to everything.

the defenders seem to be able to defend as well

Surely Vardy is a shoe in for man of the match.

Wins the penalty for the first goal.

Scores the second goal.

Set up Walcott for a tap in.

Tracked back several times to win back the ball.

Does anyone know who is choosing man of the match?

Vardy scores and wins the penalty, guaranteed to be left on the bench next match

Cruel cynicism. If this game doesn't show the way England need to play, with Vardy and without Rooney. with Lallana pressing but without that dog Sterling, and without the primadonna that is Sturridge. We looked more balanced more attacking more positive and more confident without the poseurs in the side,

Agree with Sturridge and Rooney but I think Sterling is a good player, would question Lindgard being in the starting line up more then Sterling. He has been ok this second half but the first half he was pretty poor ruining quite a few chances.

Yeah but Lindgard had a decent game, maybe a one off. Sterling doesn't contribute enough for me. He makes a few decent runs and can bring the ball forwards but the seems to disappear.
