England v Spain - 20:00

Don't know what Southgate's complaining about, Henderson was down injured for about a minute.

The result doesn't matter, we've played well today. Nice to see actual tactics being employed.

What a shame we played really well until the last 5 minutes (where did 5 minutes injury time come from?). Stones had his best game for England. Well deserved MOTM for Vardy, is there a better sight in football than a diving header?

Heaton will have nightmares, actually has a good game, but  then really really bad goalkeeping.

Poor defending. In fact the whole 7 minutes was poor defending....

Quite unbelievable that international quality players cannot see out a game at 2-0

They hardly tore us apart, basic defending really, our shape there was all over the place.

Think we started to lose the game when Vardy was taken off, Rashford gave us no outlet sadly meaning the ball kept coming back to us, maybe needs a bit more time to develop with U21 before senior football?

Defo. Vardy off and England lose that attacking threat that worries the opposition

You don't  see many these days.

We stopped defending from the front after Vardy  went off.

So Spursy.

What's the matter with you? What did Spuds players contribute tonight? Vardy gained a peno, scored a great header, England drew (luckily) against Spain. It was more like City than Spurs.

Forget last season, Spuds are no longer our rivals, the bitterness is over. Support the team, England or Leicester. Support our team.

It was a friendly, we were always going to give lots of players some game time. At least Vardy will be fresher for us at the weekend.

Oh I know that but the subs shouldn't  have caused a change in what was proving to be a successful game plan

Seems to prove that if you remove the attacking threat (Vardy/Lallana(injured) then the opposition can move forward and put us under peressure

LOL. I was on catchup. I've edited my reply. I believe my points are still valid.

Enjoyed the game. Thoroughly entertaining. Apart from the last 5 I thought Stones was exceptional. Great to see Vardy net. At least it was exciting, we had a game plan and it's so refreshing to see us getting forward quickly.
