Guest ttfn Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Don't know what Southgate's complaining about, Henderson was down injured for about a minute. The result doesn't matter, we've played well today. Nice to see actual tactics being employed.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 It is a friendly so the performance was much improved ... and that is what does matter

TheMightySystem Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Think we started to lose the game when Vardy was taken off, Rashford gave us no outlet sadly meaning the ball kept coming back to us, maybe needs a bit more time to develop with U21 before senior football?
Webbo Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 What a shame we played really well until the last 5 minutes (where did 5 minutes injury time come from?). Stones had his best game for England. Well deserved MOTM for Vardy, is there a better sight in football than a diving header?
foxes_rule1978 Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 If we can play more like that from now on I will start to be interested in England games again
fuchsntf Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Heaton will have nightmares, actually has a good game, but then really really bad goalkeeping. Poor defending. In fact the whole 7 minutes was poor defending....
one F in Fox Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Quite unbelievable that international quality players cannot see out a game at 2-0 They hardly tore us apart, basic defending really, our shape there was all over the place.

Defo. Vardy off and England lose that attacking threat that worries the opposition

We stopped defending from the front after Vardy went off.

Vardy gained a peno, scored a great header, England drew (luckily) against Spain. It was more like City than Spurs. Forget last season, Spuds are no longer our rivals, the bitterness is over. Support the team, England or Leicester. Support our team.

Parafox Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Seems to prove that if you remove the attacking threat (Vardy/Lallana(injured) then the opposition can move forward and put us under peressure

Guest Col city fan Posted 15 November 2016 Posted 15 November 2016 Enjoyed the game. Thoroughly entertaining. Apart from the last 5 I thought Stones was exceptional. Great to see Vardy net. At least it was exciting, we had a game plan and it's so refreshing to see us getting forward quickly.
