danieldelap Posted 4 December 2016 Posted 4 December 2016 This thread is looking even funnier now. How was the football today yesterday lads? How you managed to win the league last season is looking more and more of a mystery.

Accept it and move on. I dont want the typical proven (winner) big clubs to win any season but you guys need to stay focused on finishing what you started and avoid the hazards (pun intended). you have the tools to contend but need to work on your mental fitness. We clearly need to work on everything else this season but it never was going to be easy for us. it is what it is.
LutterworthLCFC Posted 4 December 2016 Posted 4 December 2016 Spurs were only top of the league for 13minutes! And that was only because we were the late kick off!

Anyone think this guy has twigged yet that we didn't just get such support because we're the plucky underdogs? To a lot of people it was a desperation for spurs not to win it.

Regardless, of what happens this season, I'd take winning the Premier League and then getting relegated over finishing third then fifth or sixth the following season. You'll never, ever know the joy and sheer elation every City fan felt when we won the title.

Of course we could win it, we will win many, many trophys in the next few years. Clearly the team on the up playing the best football in Europe.

I haven't checked the Champions League tables for a while, but by that comment I assume you sailed through. Who are you hoping for in the next round then? So exciting when us small clubs qualify for Europe, isn't it?
Samilktray Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 The best football in Europe Spurs fans are adorable aren't they
kingcarr21 Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 This guy is clearly on the wind up. Spanking Swansea = best football in Europe . Even we beat Swansea this season so that really isn't much of an achievement after the season we are having. It also took a complete dive from the scrote Alli to take the lead. Spurs will never win the league because the big clubs wont let last season happen again. The days are gone where big teams in a blip just assume everything will be alright cause they are a big team. They will be even more on their game knowing teams can compete much better. Spurs best chance of winning it was last season and you were never close. In fact i cant see you being higher than Arsenal anytime soon. Wont be long before a big team comes in for Kane and he waves bye bye. Leaving you with Janssen
danieldelap Posted 5 December 2016 Posted 5 December 2016 Kane is Tottenham through and through. Have you not noticed the amount of top players signing new contracts with us? And all this talk of big clubs, we are a big club. If this was the 60's we'd be THE biggest club.

Its someone on here pretending to be a Spurs fan. Levy is getting them signed up so he can sell for top dollar. Are you telling me if Man City, Man U heck even Chelsea and Arsenal came in and offered 200k-300k a week Kane wouldn't go. He would be off in a flash cause he has no hope in winning anything meaningful at Spurs.

First British team to do the double in the 20th Century First British side to win a major European Trophy. Record attendance for a English club in the CL. A reputation for always having the best English players ... Greaves, Gascoigne, Hoddle, Lineker, Sheringham, Kane ...

Would you rather play for Leicester for 100k or any other club for 200k?

If Kane has true aspirations of going as far as possible with his career then he simply wont achieve that at Spurs. Even if you did win a league title in the next 10 years you wouldn't be challenging on a consistent basis. So to answer your question. If a big club came in for me and i knew i would be playing consistent champs league football then yes i would go.
