Oh I agree you play good football but it's not as good as your neighbours. Arsenal are the best footballing side in the Country. Have been since Wenger took over.

They were for a long time, but we outplay them usually now. Yes Wenger has worked wonders for that club, turning boring, turgid football into playing the 'Tottenham' way almost.

Tottenham Hotspur are a far more respected club than Leicester City to be fair. Yes people got behind you last season and they were always going to, a very little club overperforming and beating the big boys to the title. If I wasn't a Spurs fan and we weren't the best side in the country last season I'd have been cheering you on too.

Performance against Chelsea - players lost their heads, not helped by the comments Chelsea players had been making before hand about wanting you win win the league - see what i'm saying about how many outside influences helped you lot last season.

Are you seriously telling me that all of tottenham's season was decided by Chelsea saying they wanted us to win the league?  Are Tottenham players really that weak minded that you are blaming that one sentence?

if thats the case then you deserve all the criticism you get.

And just a reminder, we didnt win the league by two points and a win at chelsea would of snatched it for you, but we won by ELEVEN points. and another team finished ahead  of you! Did they out-psyche you aswell?

Once the title was gone our players gave up, frustrating but understandable, CL football was assured and they were exhausted. That is why Arsenal finished above us, and we were so pathetic against Newcaslte on the last day of the season.

Just out of interest...  If you think it was bad for Spurs...do you have any idea how much media interference/ scrutiny the Leicester team were under? Just how much the media was buzzing around the players and staff the 2nd half of the season?

If anyone would of had an excuse to use media intrusion, it would of been us... but we were not the ones who folded like a pack of cards....

The title hadn't gone when you drew with West Brom. Stop trying to find a reason to suit your bias views and just accept the fact we were by far the best footballing team last season. There isn't even a debate to be had.

Take England for example. Following Spurs supposed 'best football tactics'. Did well for us at the Euros didn't it. Guarantee we would have done better taking Leicesters approach. You know the one, the one that WON THE LEAGUE AT A CANTER

Not as funny as Leicester winning the league only to be relegated the following season. You're only doing well in the CL because you've had a piss easy group.

I knew Spurs squad was better than Leicester and it's showing this season in the league. To think most of you thought Vardy was better than Kane lol the definition of a 'one season wonder'

Better squad but you only beat us once in 4 attempts lol

Maybe if you didn't bottle the league you may have got an easier group than you already did.

Also where's the other Spurs fan who said he can guarantee that Tottenham would go further than us in the champions league?

Hang on a minute... why cant the same not be said for arsenal? Once the title was gone,  and champions league assured... why didnt they give up? why were they not exhausted? why were they able to gain more points than you?

it still makes me laugh that there are people out there who genuinely thought spurs were title contenders at any stage last year. miles behind us from pretty much start to finish.

Tottenham's trophy haul in the last 20 years is basically ours without the league title. One of the best clubs in the world apparently.

Your team did play great football last season, but just couldn't close the deal.

Out of morbid curiosity, by what measure were you the best team in the country last season?

Top comedian pahahahaha. Weren't you guaranteed to win the title or at least 2nd place? Where'd you end up? Who did you lose 5-1 too?

Personally I want us to try and win every competition we are in, we a club with a great cup tradition and built our reputation as one of the best clubs in the world with our cup wins. If you were to ask me would I rather gain entry to the CL from finishing 2-4th or winning the Europa I'd choose a trophy every time.

But no you don't have a better squad than us, you got extremely lucky with momentum and some hilarious decisions from officials. Not to mention you had players from every other club rooting for you, teams openly saying they wanted you to win the league before matches against us and there you have it. If your squad was truely the best in the land you'd be showing it again this season, it's no surprise to me that you're back to extremely mediocre.

I often spare a thought for Spurs, and then I piss myself laughing at how they haven't won anything more than a league cup in more than a quarter of a century, how think they had a chance last year when they didn't, but still buckled under the pressure of chasing, how they haven't looked close to winning a title in 50 years, how despite it being their best season in ages they still finished below Arsenal, how they've ****ed up the only Champions league season they'll have in years because they won't be getting top 4 again for ages, how apparently they were better than us last year despite finishing 11 points behind.

I just laugh at how they've spursed everything up but still think they're a great team.
