Can everyone just get a bloody grip?

As much as I'm proud of our achievements in the Champions League I can't help but think that Hull or Sunderland could've won our group, we only looked convincing against Brugge away, they seem a pants side anyway. I'm hoping the January signings sort our team out but it doesn't really work out that way sometimes, it's going to take at least till the ACON has finished to get any kind of settled side (that's capable of playing football together).

Like most folks, I will still back the team regardless but the effort the players have put in over the past few weeks against the so called lesser teams has been disgusting for professional footballers and that's what irritates me the most. They look too nonchalant at the minute.

The worrying this is that we all knew that we'd lose today after seeing the formation and team selection. How can Claudio not see it?

Also will people stop going on about the CL. Watford would have pissed our group. So would West Brom. ****ing Forest and Leeds would probably have qualified from it too.

yeh how dare we enjoy our first venture into the champions league.

If we are in the relegation zone by xmas Ranieri will be on his way

With Pearson as manager we spent more than 145 days at the bottom of the table and nobody sent

him packing.

And looking at our up and coming fixtures and shit run of form it's hard to see where the next three points are coming from.

The difference there was we were actually playing well and just unlucky in a lot of games, right now we are not playing well and perhaps a tad lucky (especially in the Champions League)

I will believe and get on board that things will improve when I see evidence that makes me believe that can happen. Right now I'm seeing a side look even more clueless by the week. I can't pretend to be optimistic. I'll be at the aways and I'll be in full support of the team, but I'm not going to pretend I can't see things that are in front of my eyes.

Ranieri is a legend and id never sack him him if it was up to me but it's the reality of modern football unfortunately

Clearly most people on this forum are too emotionally invested from the reality of the situation. He will be gotten rid of if we are in danger of going down.

the owners want us as an established premier league team. Do we look established to anyone? Had we just come up this season and were performing like this everyone would be demanding change.

Last season was ridiculous and I'll never forget it. But this is how it is

This is how it is?? You can fire anyone anytime? So, why did some people talk about loyalty when Kante or other players wanted to leave? .......

We have done well so far in the champions league and that keeps getting mentioned to gloss over the poor league form. But does anyone that says that really think that if we get a Barcelona, Madrid or Bayern that we will not get smashed the way we are playing at the moment.

The real problems and we all know it are:

1)Too much importance being put on champions league. At the expense of the prem

2)No plan B at all and we are too predictable

3)Poor recruitment in the summer in the CM position after losing Kante. Mendy may have been a good signing who knows? but we should have got 2 ready players in that can play in the middle.

4)We were inevitably going to get injuries and suspensions at some stage but the squad was kept too thin to cope. Which ties in with the 3rd point.

5)Squad fitness. We just don't seem to have the same extra edge that we had last season. Last year we seemed to be 10% more determined, fitter and up for it than everyone we played.

6)losing Walsh. Surely we could have offered him better terms with the same position as Everton.

Ranieri more than anyone deserves time to put it right. He has earned that right. But the points above come down to management. Questions need to be asked by the owners to get a reaction. But equally he needs to be given the whole season to put it right and unless we get relegated the job should be his for life just on the basis of what we achieved last year.

Ranieri may well deserve time to put it right but he won't...we all know know he won't....we can satisfy ourselves by pretending it will all be okay and turn around however it won't, we just don't look capable no one is really performing, Mahrez has got more chance of finding Maddie Mcann than he has Vardy at the moment....

The performances are getting worse by the game and he continually plays the same shitty static formation in hope we can revert to our old ways.....my prediction is we will give him until January and I honestly can't se us picking up another point in the league until the window opens, we need to change things, freshen them up a bit and if it means sacking lord Claudio than so be it....from the start of the pre-season we have been nothing but a complete let down.

Lots of excellent points. Don't think we would have kept Walsh though as everyone suggests a personal desire to move - fan and family. Also, if Claudio getting the whole season presupposes he turns this round pretty soon or at least by the end of the Jan transfer window. What if we approach March and we are still playing 442 with the wrong players and pegged close to bottom?

Lots of different people with different mindsets and opinions.

I dare say the majority of people questioning Claudio right now are the same ones that were happy for Kanté to move on to bigger and better things. Mainly as they're both pretty rational things.

i honestly think the club dropped a bollock when we didn't strengthen pre season when we were in a situation to do so. we could have strengthened with enough class to have cemented ourselves in the poem for years to come. now we are suffering because of it.

Personally, unless we have an R next to our name I think he should stay. But I don't think it will go that far. A few wins and we are around mid table. Signings like Musa, Kaputska will take time. Gray is knocking on the door and only getting better. We are missing 3 major players at the moment with Kasper/DD and Mendy. I use major for Mendy only in that he was the replacement for Kante. Any side would struggle with 3 first team players out. We will turn it around.

I just don't get the excuse of " well we've lost Kante that's why we're suddenly so Crap!!"

So judas dumped us for Chelski but we still have 99%ish of the champion winning side

Well, it looks good for the "99% of the champion winning side" without Kanté.

And cut the crap about that he's a Judas.

Kanté did the right decision for moving to a better club that Leicester in litteray all aspect and he's become one of the absolute best players for Chelsea (who're the best team in the country).

I still remember when Kanté was ridiculed by plenty of people here for joining Chelsea lol.

Sorry, but I think, people like you are living in a dream world.

Do you really think, that winning the title for the first time in 132 years did turn LCFC

into a big attraction? Did it put us on the same level as Arsenal, ManU, Chelsea, Real,

Barca , PSG or Bayern? Of course not!!!

Even this summer, we were not in a position to choose players from the top-shelf.

I mean, we weren't  able to sign Deeney and Keane, although we offered to

pay 45m for the two. If we can't lure players from Watford and Burnley into

joining the reigning champions of England, how, do you think, can we get

hold of the really big shots?

If we like it, or not, we are still small fish in a sea full of big sharks.

At least it's gripping stuff, so in a way I am getting a grip. we are going through a extremely bad patch and we all hope we can get through this and be o.k. I expected us to level out this season after such an incredible season but I didn't foresee us being this bad this early into the season and us really struggling. It is very disappointing and embarressing

did i say it put us in the same category as them teams? nope. i just think we was in the best position to cement ourselves in the league than we ever had or would be in again.

I think, the club/manager really tried to strengthen the team.

They made a 30m offer for Deeney, a 15m offer for Keane,

21m for Silva, 25m for Barbosa, the tried to sign Witsel and

were in contact with Ben Arfa, as a possible replacement for

Mahrez, and 5 weeks ago they made contact with Naby Keita,

but he prefers to stay in Leipzig.

The case of Barbosa tells it all: although LCFC offered more money,

he moved to Inter. I guess, he found Milan more interresting than

Leicester, the jewel of the Midlands.

Face it: even after winning the bloody title, we are still the ugly

frog. We didn't morph into the beautiful princess, by lifting that

trophy. We never will.

We are much worse now than we ever were when we were bottom under Pearson. That season we only played poorly against Man U away for one half and the whole Swansea game.

As we are much worse now, there is clearly a good chance of relegation.

Its a bit like the band carrying on playing on the Titanic.

We need a complete change of team and manager in January

We need a complete change of team and manager in January

Palace away.

Burnley home, second half.

Newcastle away.

WBA home.

Soton away.

Sunderland home.

Villa away.

West Ham away.

I'd argue all those performances were as bad as the two performances you mention.
