Massive importance to have Kasper back. Good to see some fight and agression again - keep it up!!!! I don't like slagging off Zieler, he's done some fine work with us, but he's nowhere near Kasper's quality. Such a relief to have him back.
Guest Col city fan Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 I think what is very clear is that, without the sending off, we'd have won that game.
Batfink77 Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 looking on bright side of Vardy's red. Is there a chance Ranieri could start Ulloa and Slimani up front. Have Mahrez and Gray pinging in balls to two 'target men' combine that with the ability of Mahrez and Gray to shoot from just outside/inside box. It may well prove a better attacking style against teams who know how to contain the ball through to Vardy. Plus...when we need to be more defensive Ulloa can fall back to assist back 4 with Slimani staying pressing up front.
tyfox Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 GOD I LOVE MY TEAM I SAW GRAFT AGAIN TODAY. COME ON BOYS WHOS NEXT CUZ I FANCY US NOW EVERY GAME

Agreed we were getting on top until the sending off. We lost discipline then and conceded. Whatever CR said at half time clearly worked and the substitutions were excellent.

Once again the importance of playing with wingers was proved today. Strength down the wings and strength in the Middle with Ulloa and Slimani who I thought was much better today. But then so was everybody.
Jersey Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Wow. I thought MLS refs here in the States were bad... Pawson must be disappointed he couldn't get Stoke the result he worked so hard for.

You don't play two target men together, one or the other otherwise it ends up like Dublin and De Vries when they were played together, absolute nightmare and took me years to recover from.
justfoxes Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 I really can't believe how a so called Leicester fan wanted one of his own players injured early on in the game, only for him to score the winner !! FFS HOW DO YOU FEEL NOW WHAT A BLOODY TOOL !!
VLC86 Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Is there any better feeling than scoring a late equaliser against a bunch of inbreds when the ref has completely robbed you? I'm not so sure.

I'd normally agree if it wasn't combined with the different attacking threat that Gray and Mahrez also bring...their balls into the box aside.
razh Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Pawson is a utter c*** that is all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hammo Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 If the team showed that sort of heart and commitment every game we would be top half not anxiously looking at the results of the teams around and below us. It was that attitude that played such a crucial role in turning 'nobodies' into champions. Plus, it helps when we have players who can deliver a couple of delicious pinpoint crosses that are asking to be headed into the net. Take note, Marc Albrighton - look up before you release the ball!! At the risk of stating the bleedin' obvious, the ref was a disgrace. Vardy should definitely not be banned. He outmuscled and outpaced his opponent to win his fifty-fifty challenge and then won the ball. There was not an iota of malice. If that was a red card, the game has become a joke.

Panel should hear it within 3 days, I think. Only problem if the panel decides it was an abuse of process, they could increase Vardy's match ban.
Kitchandro Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Great to watch us fight for a result. I only hope we can build on that. I was baffled at our performance at Bournemouth and I don't want to feel the same on Boxing Day.

sdb Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 Smug yes but delighted that many things I believe were given some credence... -Ulloa should be playing a bigger role. He did nothing to be marginalised. -Gray needs more playing time (we all know that) -Amartey can be a top player for us. Motm second half I thought. -Pawson is a terribly weak ref. Not quite a **** in the Moss attention seeking way, but really easily lead and just generally poor. Hope me we get the selection right v Everton. Tricky one .

That's the type of heart we played with all last season and look what happened. I don't think it's the team selection or formation that needs to change. It's the way we play on the pitch. King and Amartey stepped up again - particularly in the second half today - and we looked good. When we try to contain a team and play cautiously like we did on Tuesday we look poor and a shadow of our team last season. When we play to our strengths press all over the pitch and break quickly, we look like the team that terrorised every one last year. Belief! That's what we need again. And at times we show the magic that won us the league in the most amazing season ever.

Clever Fox Posted 17 December 2016 Posted 17 December 2016 I thought Amartey was our best player on Tuesday along with Mahrez and he certainly stepped up today. Was all over the pitch today and popped up with the Equaliser. He's going to be a big players for us now that he's getting used to the Premiership.
