Gray, Selfish or not ?

Yes. I said in he summer his Achilles heel is his final product.

He don't have one.

He must be utterly frustrating to play with in the same team.

He is greedy but that will be trained out of him, partly.

I have no problem with him running at the defence when its him versus three but he needs to put his head up as his team mates join in on the attack because he keeps missing options that he didnt even know existed (and probably didnt want to know LOL). Again he is young so that will get better as he gets older.

He's greedy but if he does learn when to pass and when to shoot he'll be class whereas Okazaki is atrocious at threading simple through balls through. Infuriating the amount of times he's ballsed up basic passes.

Gray needs leadership from the Manager which it doesn't look like he's getting. Claudio should say to him do that again and I'll take you off. then do exactly that if he tries to be the showman again. He cost us at least two goals early in the game today.

Also I don't know what the Coaches are doing with him because they should be creating these situations in training to show him what to do. After all he's only starting his career but get him on the right path and he could be a great player for us.

The blokes trying too hard to impress if you ask me. Even when he plays well he's either on the bench for the next game or subbed off early when doing well I think he's the least of our problem's.

Gray needs to be moved on.To me he's a part-timer. Dangerous for 25 minutes but far too often in a world of his own. He also looks like the proverbial glory boy rather than the selfless but talented team player we need.

Don't mistake me - I'm all for attackers trying anything and everything to be effective. But there's a lot more to being a good and effective footballer than the odd bit of individual magic.

Yes, perhaps he could be improved. There are harder problems in the coaching world for sure. But no-one actually seems to be making any progress in that direction so, unless he does get an effective mentor, what's the point?

He's 20. He will learn.

Once he improves his decision making he will be a great player for us. And improvement only comes with playing time.

Seriously needs to compose himself for the final ball/shot, needs to get that head up, he can move the ball with ease, so has it in him.

However lots of rumours from even brum times, he already saw himself as the finished article and big time Charlie boy and could do it all himself. Arrogance does tend to come with talented youths lol (who moi? :P )

He's 20 years old. You're writing the boy off already?

Gray has more talent and technical ability in his left bollock than half our squad.

Ronaldo was a selfish glory hunter at 20 but that was coached out of him (NOT saying Gray will be as good as CR7) but that young players need guidance and patience

Chilwell have been skinned many times by a wingers and been exposed positionally a few times, do you wanna move him on as well?

He'll need to show a lot more sign of wanting to learn in my eyes. He's not a new boy any longer. Ferguson might have sorted him. By giving him a game or two - withdrawing him to do a few weeks homework - then gradually increasing his trust levels according to the boy's reaction and performance. If he's truly got the character and self-sacrificing attitude to keep improving week by week and month by month without complaint, I've not noticed.

Gray is greedy but he at least rolls the dice a bit. He's a breath of fresh air compared to the rest of them. I can't get too annoyed at him shooting from distance when there's literally not one other but of creativity in the side.

He's the last player I'd be looking to drop after today. He's got raw ability and the decision making will come with age. Taking him out will make us even worse to watch, which I'm amazed is actually possible.

But harsh saying he needs to be moved on though.

He will learn. Not just when he got the ball and his decision making, but his off the ball work , he drifts out, not looking to do the dirty bits, or alert to danger. It will come, and I honestly think he will one day make the Rngland squad , but needs to sort out his attitude and temperament and on field concentration. We would certainly regret moving him on.

Difference between Mahrez and him is Mahrez lifts his head up and last season makes the correct pass.

And Mahrez is a million times better

I didn't say I'd write him off - I said there's no point persevering with him at Leicester if we can't find someone to get the best out of him.

Because as it is, he's a luxury we can't afford for too much of the time.

Last season, he was player of the year.  I struggle to see Gray reach those heights.

This season however, Gray has shown more, I think he can adjust his game and learn and be a better player

He can indeed be frustrating, but I think that end product is something that can be improved. It will get better with a few games. He's so much starving to play and unsure when he'll get another start or even subbed in that he only thinks of himself first.

When Riyad's back we HAVE to try both him and Gray in a 4-3-3. Give the opposition two tricky players to worry about rather than one.

Me to,but i think if Mahrez goes to a top club,he will show he is on a different level to Grey.

If Mahrez plays well we win, as was shown last year.

This year,well meh

He's shown a big potential but still miles behind Mahrez. Especially when it comes to game vision. Also don't forget the latter has constantly at least two players on him. I wonder what Gray would do in the same situation.

I like Gray a lot and craving to see him and Riyad in a 4-3-3 with Slim upfront and hopefully a Drinky past his tough spell.

That's where we seem to be lacking. There's a shortage in our Coaches as they are failing players development. Young players all need one to one development on various aspects of the game. Players need help understanding the game and leadership to go with there talent.

We had the same problem with Schlupp who's kicking was atrocious and yet no one bother to help him sort it out. Something seriously wrong with our Coaching structure.
