The Doctor Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Are we seriously bigger in Ethiopia than in the UK?
lgfualol Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 How random are those countries, apart from Algeria and Thailand.
Leamington Fox Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 It's not about the highest number of City fans per country, but the highest concentration of City fans.
Stadt Posted 4 January 2017 Author Posted 4 January 2017 The methodology used is Facebook likes There's no data for quite a few countries, I'd imagine we're one of the more popular sides in Japan but it's not included

rmahrez Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 So there are more Leicester fans in Hong Kong than the UK. I find it hard to believe.
Leamington Fox Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 No, my understanding is that it must be a higher concentration of City fans: i.e. for every 1,000 Hong Kong residents, say, there are 1.3 Leicester fans and for every 1,000 UK residents, there might only be 0.6 blue boys. So, it is not adding up how many Leicester fans are in each country and see which country has the highest total, it is about looking for those populations with the greatest proportion of Foxes. Does this make sense?

Not necessarily, that isn't what the chart is showing. Also, if it's based on Facebook likes it's nowhere near indicative of actual supporters (I know we're big in Algeria, mind).

Ah, I see, so a higher percentage of the population of these countries support us. Good to see we're popular in Angola then, must be good for merch sales.
st albans fox Posted 4 January 2017 Posted 4 January 2017 Do you think its Georgia the country or Georgia the state?

Voll Blau Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Shame they didn't bother to do one showing who supports who in this country via the joys of Facebook likes.
hackenbacker Posted 5 January 2017 Posted 5 January 2017 Surprised to see Tanzania not included. A while back while doing a tour of the country our tour bus broke down in the middle of nowhere. While we were waiting to get it fixed along came a local on a bike proudly donning a LCFC beanie on-top his head despite it being hot as hell. The only evidence in my whole time in Africa of LCFC merchandise.
