Gray actually showed the odd moment of skill and attacking menace (albeit with no end product); 6. Schmeichel made a couple of saves; 5. Everyone else should be ashamed of themselves; 1s and 2s. Simpson, Morgan and Fuchs all had their worst games in a Leicester shirt, Drinkwater was not far off the same, and as for Okazaki, well he was Okazaki - as useless and ineffective as he always is, losing the ball at virtually every opportunity, falling over repeatedly and - despite playing in the No 10 slot - creating absolutely nothing and, worse still, ballsing up our clearest opening with a criminally underhit pass just before Saints scored their first goal; minus 1.

There have been some terrible performances this season, but this was the worst of all.

Ranieri 2 - Go (for the 1st time)

Schmeichel 6 Although blameless, he seemed unusually quiet - not a good sign for morale

Simpson 5 Limited player, but not too bad

Morgan 2 Consistenly off pace & out of position; needs a spell out of the team

Huth 6 Might have been 7-0 without him & some poor Saints finishing

Fuchs 3 Dreadfully off-pace & poor decisions, not the first time recently - needs a spell out

Mendy 5 A limited, defensive, short-passing player but did his best out of position

Ndidi 6 Again fairly solid; looks a good buy as a defensive midfielder....but we also need someone creative in midfield

Drinkwater 3 Shockingly passive, offered zero creativity

Okazaki 3 I like Shinji but he offered no threat or creativity today

Vardy 5 Some clever runs for team but limited threat - easily controlled

Gray 6 Offered some real threat/penetration, but made some poor decisions

Albrighton 5 Tried

Musa 5 Tried

Saints 7 Deserve more credit than they're getting, though we were dismal

Ref. 7 Pretty good for once - & the dodgy disallowed goal was the lino's decision

Serious question, when will we start to see -ve scores as an option, 0 is becoming too high.

I put a few n/a in, couldn't stomach giving some a score of 1

Someone has to stick up for Vards. He runs around getting into space and makes runs for the others. He gets no supply and rarely support either. He doesn't deserve the same rating as the other players because if he came back to their areas of the pitch we would have no outlet for quick attack. Vardy - 10 for me as what else can he do???

10 for Vardy is deranged.  He gets an easy ride due to past glories, in my view.  His work rate was poor today, even with such terrible service.  Below average at best.

My worst ratings ever......

Kasper 3. Looked nervy mind who wouldn't with the clowns in front of him.

Simpson, Morgan, Huth & Fuchs 1. All 4 were rubbish, Chilwell must start and 3 new defenders please.

Drinkwater 1. Awful again and looks like he wants to move on.

Ndidi & Mendy 5. At least they gave it a go, start both in CM from now on.

Gray 3. Too greedy, got to get rid of his ego and become a team player.

Okazaki 1. Awful again, always falling over, no end product and the worst of the bad bunch.

Vardy 1. Defended him in the past but is worse than when he first signed for us, career is going backwards.

Ranieri needs a sidekick as this is all too much for him, make him team manager and bring a decent hungry coach in.

Ref was good and Southampton deserved the win without breaking into a sweat.

we will go down without a fight if drastic changes are not made....

Up the City.....:scarf:

10 was an exaggeration to make a point. What do Pele, Maradona, Messi, Ronaldo, Cruyff and Vardy have in common? All pretty civilian without the ball.

At last! Someone else who sees the same Okazaki as I do

Posted

Schmeichel 6 - Cares, didn't do too much wrong

Simpson, Huth, Morgan 4 - All poor at different times

Fuchs 2 - worst I've seen from him, all over the place

Drinkwater 2 - Like Fuchs, just couldn't find a Leicester player

Ndidi 5 - There's a player there. Problem is what formation and with what players will he flourish?

Mendy 4 - Some ok stuff, but as a central midfielder you have to actually go forwards sometimes

Gray 4 - We can all see he can play, but the end product was generally woeful, and he needs to contribute more when we don't have the ball

Vardy 5 - There was effort there, but no service, and he looks like he doesn't believe he will ever get any

Okazaki 2 - Really poor today, never in the game

Albrighton 2 - As sub showed why he didn't start

Musa 4 - Tried to make things happen

Southampton 6 - at best - frustrating that they were poor

Oliver 7 - I'd say the penalty was soft, but it didn't matter too much, and in general you couldn't complain about him

Ranieri 4 - this needs sorting

Posted

Schmeichel 3 - people said he didn't do much wrong, for me he should of saved the 1st goal, ball has no power and he should had a stronger hand to it, he knew straight away he messed that one up, as well nearly got caught with the back pass which ended with fuchs- he gave it away and should be 3-0 at that point

Simpson - 3, terrible but axtually the best of the back 4

Huth - 2 poor header away for the 2nd

Morgan 1 - slow to every ball, keep losing his man, we need to drop one of Huth or Morgan the next game, try benny against Derby

Fuchs 2- he has been so bad lately for Mr consistent, he usually has great delivery but can't even beat the 1st man with his crosses

Drinkwater 1- he has been  absolutely garbage the last 10 games, was player of the season in the 1st 10 games of this campaign, lose every ball, control and passing awful

Mendy - 3 not bad not good, doing do anything special

Ndidi 3- same as mendy, but his passing ain't up to scratch

Gray 4 - extra mark for trying, our most dangerous player today, if something going to happen it will be from him but it's so frustrating to watch, he should of played vardy in but went for glory

Okazaki 3- offered nothing, had a chance to slip a player in but blown it

Vardy 3 - same offered nothing

no matter how good you are as a striker, if your midfield not supplying you with the balls you are nothing, Messi will look bang average in our team with the creativity from our midfield, either sideways, we pass back to our keeper more than going forward to our strikers

Albrighton 4- worked hard

Musa 3

Schmeical   6 decent enough

Simpson 4 lost his edge..30 now..doubt it will return

Huth  5  standard peformance...must be getting fed up playing in front of a poor midfield

Morgan 4 his time is up...thanks for last season

Fuchs  3 as per Morgan...50/50 challenges were pathetic

Ndidi  5 not bad...will need time to adjust to the premiership

Drinkwater 3 looks like he is fed up re his partners being changed... sulking ?

Mendy 5 same as Ndidi

Gray 4  unless he learns to use his left foot his premiership career will not flourish

Vardy 3 same as Drinkwater

Okazaki 3 time to sell...let him fall over somewhere else

Albrighton 5 at least he looks like hes bothered

Musa 5   same as Albrignton

Raneiri 5 needs to axe some of the 'big names'  or step aside for someone who will...

Think we will survive ...then time to bring in hungry players  ..Chilwell,Kaputska etc .Amartey looks useful at centre back in Afcon

Kasper 6 felt for him today, only player who looks like he cares and is performing near his best.

Simpson 2 if we are going to play without wingers the full back needs to be able to pass a ball, he couldn't do that, was woefully out of position many times allowing crosses to come in.

Morgan 1 the less said the better

Huth 5 let down by others around him, he actually looked ok today.

Fuchs 3 wasn't great, but at least he can play the role without wingers, put some good crosses in, But unusually for him looked poor in defence.

Ndidi 5 better second half in a 442

Drinkwater 3 looked frustrated

Mendy 2 poor

Okazaki 1 nothing literally offered nothing

Gray 1 undoubtably got talent but greedy as feck, pass the ball please. No use trying to play by yourself.

Vardy 5 got into the positions a few times today, let down by poor service.

Albrighton 5 we are a far better team with him in and playing on the right

Musa 4 meh didn't do too badly

Claudio 1 got everything wrong today.

Southampton 6 we made them look like a 10, but decent team played well and made the right decisions in the final third.

Ref 7 called everything right today I felt.

Stay- just but the ice just got a little thinner.

Kasper 5 Possibly could have got to the first but no chance with the others. We'll lose him at the end of the season

Simpson 4 Our most consistent defender this season seems to have caught the same bug as the rest of them. Awful

Wes 4 Had an absolute stinker. Everything went wrong for him

Huth 5 Probably looked the most solid of them all

Fuchs 2 Worst game he's had for us. Too casual in possession and looked sluggish. That position should have been Chilwell's anyway after the last few games

Mendy 4 Does the easy stuff but has little impact

Drinkwater 4 As with Fuchs, possibly the worst game he's had for us. So sloppy in possession

Ndidi 5 Think there's a good player in there in the right formation

Gray 7 End product poor but that can be coached. What he does have is raw talent- pace, skill, work rate and confidence. He's been in and out the side so much which I don't think has helped him. It's a certain goal for Vardy in the first half of Gray crossed it to him rather than shot

Okazaki 2 As ineffective as usual. It's like playing with ten men

Vardy 6 Showed some nice touches, totally isolated once again. Is lacking that bite he had last season

Albrighton 6 This lad would be my first name on the team sheet at the moment because he's the only one who shows fight and really galvanises us.

Musa 5 At least he tried. Made some ok runs but they came to nothing. It is unbelievable we paid so much money for him

Ranieiri has to go now. I've come to realise its not the formtation, it's not the players he picks in the 11. The players just aren't playing for him. He is taking us down.

How do you know Kapustka is hungry?

He may be a natural that turns it on for games but would you risk him when he doesn't pull up trees in training and self imposed absence from development sides since the 6 - 1 defeat.

By all accounts a bit away still

Posted

I think we will. Stay up as there are 3 teams worse than us and as far sacking Claudio that's not going to happen he will turn things around but it must start now. CR lead us to glory by winning the league and we are still in the champions league. What an achievement. Keep the faith
