Too good for Barnsley lol

I think some people need to do some research into anterior knee ligament ruptures. How good he was is irrelevant he could be a completely different player now.

He's lucky he has a chance to play again full stop never mind be concerned about the level he starts getting back into at.

Good luck to Barnsley

good luck to Matty James more importantly

So true mate, did my ACL, MCL & smashed my meniscus in 1999!! Had 4 ops on one knee & 3 ops on the other & still popping pills!! Have to see the consultant again on Monday to see if they can do anything else as i can't even kick a ball on the park with my lad!! Even after surgeries it's still problematic. You do see some come back, but he'll never be the same imo.

Looks like this is about to be confirmed on Barnsley's twitter so we should hear something just before the Derby game i'd imagine ;)

Far too good for a team like Barnsley.

No disrespect to Barnsley, but James is far too good for them.

He might be, but it's a big risk for any clubs when someone has been out two years. We also might need a club who are willing to to go easy on him and let us be involved still in decision making regards his fitness. Last thing we need is him going off to a club and getting pushed beyond what he's currently capable of.
