Yes, he has left in the summer, along with a number of other sports science guys. Whether it was their choice or not, I don't know, could have gone to Derby with Nigel, but not to have any psychology stuff going on is another criminal mistake by the powers at the kp.

I knew some of the Sports Science team at Loughborough Uni that Sousa cleared out as unnecessary. Worked a treat!!

He resigned at Roma.

I stand corrected. Well there is hope then!

The season started off poorly for Roma and saw Ranieri clash with team captain Totti, who was critical of being left out of the team and of his coach's defensive tactics and constant changes to the starting line-up.[50]Although the club's form later improved,[51][52] Ranieri resigned as manager on 20 February 2011, after a poor run of results. His final game in charge was a 4–3 defeat to Genoa, in which Roma surrendered a 3–0 lead.[53]

So I guess he resigns on sunday after we throw away a lead against Swansea

Give Craig Shakespeare a go until the end of season, doesn't look like it would be a good idea to even "promote" Ranieri in an Ambassadors role, he appears to have turned to poison whether it's his fault or not, I don't care. 100% we go down if he's not out by next week.

Wont happen, and if ranieri is sacked, as soon as the new manager takes over, the chances are that shakespeare and others in the coaching staff will be leaving the club too.

Yea, just wishful thinking on my part, as is hoping Ranieri will just walk (I hate the fact that I'm turning on Ranieri like this), last straw came following Burnley away match. Can no longer blame pre season....oh! wait a mo'....yes I can....that's when all this $hit started.

He was talking to shakey for a while in the first half but once those two goals went in, no one wanted to step forward into the technical area !

note the owners also don't want to be front and centre either at the moment

If there is any truth in there being a rift in the backroom staff with ranieri, i dont think the owners are going to be too impressed with that either, and a parting of the ways will then be inevitable in the summer, regardless of what division we are in, and indeed even if ranieri is still the manager.

Hopefully the rumours are not true.

It would be especially sad to see shakespeare go.

"We had a Performance psychologist called Ken Way who I understand left in September. (Not in the LCFC set up on line)"

I saw both Shakey & Stowell get involved to calm things down when Fuchs was arguing furiously with Ranieri in the first half.

This is where I think Ranieri needs to get tough. Sometimes it's as if he's too nice. Fuchs should be off and made an example of. Can you imagine a Ferguson Mourinho or Conte putting up with that? Chilwell is chomping at the bit anyway and if he plays then he will be happy with the manager who has done a decent job of bringing him through to be fair.

If players get an inch they take a mile. One sees another getting away with backbiting the manager and then the others try their luck. Needs to be nipped in the bud now.

I like Fuchs and he was a great signing but we have to change things up.

If this is true then it does not look good and shows the players can do what they want.

Fuchs has been poor anyway. We concede for fun with him lately, so I'd rather us give Chilwell game time to be able to develop than an old out of form man.

We need ken back.... what harm would it do

Did anybody else see not long before UTD scored Fuchs arguing with Ranieri's instructions then Fuchs went to Huth to tell him and huth shook his head with hand gestures about width!

from where I sat it looked like Fuchs and Simpson had a disagreement and had to be stopped at going each other by Drinkwater and Huth.

The worrying thing about it all? Morgan, as captain, did absolutely nothing. Just trudged back to his position and didn't look like trying to rally them or inspire them, 'lead' them. Kasper was the only one who seemed to do this.

Agreed Chilwell played very well a few weeks ago when he was given a starting birth for a few games.

Then bizarrely he's been benched in favour of Fuchs who could hardly have regressed further from the player of last season.

Given the limited time left and the single most important objective  of getting these players to play even remotely close to their potential, it's hard to argue with Shakey for the remainder, really. Anyone else would need time. And we simply don't have it. We need a change of mentality and atmosphere now.

That must have been a different point matey as Fuchs was on the sideline with Ranieri first and Claudio was doing his pointing but Fuchs was pointing differently was hoes to show is that all the players and staff are pointing in a different direction
