In the nicest way possible, the den is a horrible place to go. Whoever plays for us has to be up for the game. We have a great chance of reaching the quarters and I'm slightly excited by that.

A reserve team is guaranteed given that we play Sevilla only a few days later in the CL.

However, we owe Millwall one from that crushing 3rd round cup exit in '91 so I'm predicting a City win here.

The Den can be a truly horrible place - as can the crowd.

They will be in the players faces all the time. Whenever one of yours comes to get the ball for a throw he will be abused and big style. It all adds up and some players rise to it, a lot will melt

There will be no generic songs, no clappers, very few replica shirts

Most of you will have been, just wonder how your new breed of fan and fancy dan players will handle it.

God I hate that rotten place, nasty bunch of fans (not all of course) we'd never hear the last of it if we lost. I'd almost play the same team as tonight for that. To be honest I don't Millwall aren't that good, in the third round they were up against Bournemouth's reserve team, while Watford just look disinterested. Despite our poor season, I think we'll give them there biggest test.

You trying to advertise Football Factory 2 or something? I am sure the players and fans can cope with your past reputation and im sure we can get a result at your shack or what ever its called.

Both Watford and Bournemouth put out reserve teams and came unstuck - we really aint that good but we will chase and hustle all game.

TBH you looked decent tonight, even with a reserve side so we will need loads of luck to go through.

Glad we're playing you rather than Derby though

Nope, just one of yours said it's a horrible place, and it is.

Fans will cope no problem you will sell out your 2,200 allocation easily, using cowards walk from the station you won't even meet any Millwall before the game.

Players? I'm not so sure, especially the younger or foreign mercenaries

So intimidating that only giants Forest, Rochdale, Bolton and Wycombe have won at the Den this season. Besides fancy Dans Drinkwater, King, Morgan, Simpson, Schmeichel and Mahrez have played there before and won.

Think the reserve team have a better chance against saville to be honest

I remember the cup exit in 1991. I am sure there was another bad result at the old Cold Blow Lane in the 1980s. Midweek and pissing with rain. After the match finished we were locked in for at least 20 minutes. When the stewards unlocked the gates and let us out Millwall were waiting for us in the narrow terraced streets around the ground.

However I have known one or two Millwall supporters over the years who are real football people who like a good blether. Welcome to the forum!

is waiting (not my words but from the BBC)

Let's hope you play a reserve side - to at least give us a chance

Think you'll have a much better chance if the first team plays mate.

Do they still hold fans in for over an hour?

Often but not always, if that helps.

Seems to depend on police intelligence (an oxymoron if ever there was one) and on any pre match sheningans.

Well we're high risk apparently, so more that likely going to happen.
