Please see picture below, i simply typed in 'Milwall Crowd' In that picture i see.... 1. A child who thinks hes hard and is, funnily enough, wearing a jersey. (Could well actually be you). 2. A bloke who looks about 75. 3. Two women who look more interested in the half time food menu. Stop trying to flaunt your past reputation, nobody is afraid and your boring. Your probably only 15 and still go to the matches in the family stand. Cheerio. Unlike the OP that kid looks like he has a brain and possibly has pubic hair.
Marshall Cockney Fox Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Couple of seasons ago I took some neutral friends to watch city V Millwall at the Den. We got home tickets, but not in a particularly "hardcore" area. As we approached our seats I saw three blokes in front of them. I politely said "sorry guys, I think their our seats". At which point the three of them growled at us and one said "f@@k off and find some others". Now assuming they believed we were fellow Millwall supporters, doesn't that say alot about the calibre of their fan base???? Charming lot!!

AjcW Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 The only use for the Den is adverts and TV shows... surely the only reason the place is still open! 9,772 there for the game against Watford.....
Voll Blau Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 To be fair, I do rate Millwall's away support. They rarely bring decent numbers but always got the impression that those there do "get it" as a collective, even if their songbook is boring. Done The New Den a few times and honestly never found it intimidating though. This impression they give of themselves as being the last bastions in England against modern football is also well overstated.

Don't think half that lot you mention will be playing anyway as you have Seville a few days later Sooo what you are saying is your all a bunch of sun shine supporters? Big old Leicester come to town and everyone wants to see whats on offer?
The whole world smiles Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 'Deepest Darkest Bermondsey' give over mate this is 2017. Been to the new den 2 or 3 times when we were in the same division and never found it particuarly intimidating, few thousand people rattling around a ground that was 4 times to big for them, struggling to get any atmosphere going. around the ground wasn't bad either you basically come off the tube and into a walk through an industrial estate that is completely fenced off and go in and out. I like Millwall to be honest, I like the way you have developed a siege mentality over the years, I like the way you successfully (hopefully) fought tooth and nail with a local council who's in bed with developers that was trying to move you out of South London. But if you think Millwall Away holds any fear or intimidation to opposition fans and players then you are delusional and living in the past.
foxfanazer Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Isn't that where Paddington bear is from? I may be getting confused

Maybe you take things too serious? The lad was implying we should be afraid and that Milwall is full of snarling men who would eat us alive. The picture was to jokingly imply that isnt the case.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I can only presume this guy is Millwall's equivalent of BabyLad.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Also, I'm pretty sure Copenhagen was a much more intimidating atmosphere for the players to play in and we did just fine there.
