Nothing will be like cold blow lane. Don't big it up n make out shite. I wont get an away ticket but will be at the game.be sat with your boys some of the nuts. They are just looking for a good game. You wont faze our boys. They have seen it before. Derby away florets' for the older players spuds and the rest of the prem for the others. We never bottled it last season we won't this.
Foxxed Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Not the football factory types, with their mindless playing to a stereotype, so successfully done you could imagine you're falling asleep to the banter recital of a Guy Richie character, painfully desperate to prove their masculinity, while you suspect someone somewhere is at least trying to play football.

AylestoneRaider Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I've gotta say the atmosphere at Millwall is not intimidating at all! The worst you get is a few 10 year olds in flat caps making obscene gestures! No songs, flat atmosphere, characterless area and stadium. sorry mate - that whole "we're hard" thing got boring in the '80's! on another note I went to school with your long term captain Paul Robinson - lovely lad and top player!
Guest Col city fan Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 You're in fackin bandit territory now, son....

However, we owe Millwall one from that crushing 3rd round cup exit in '91 so I'm predicting a City win here. That was a terrible defeat. From memory we were 1 up after 3 minutes (Tony James with the goal). Walshy and Paul Ramsey got sent off and we conceded 2 goals in the last minute. If I remember rightly Leicester fans were trying to get on the pitch ! I went with ALF (Ambition Leicester Fans) they were dark days (Pleat Out) but away days were always great. Whilst on the subject we also owe them for 1985 when they knocked us out in a mid week 4th or 5th round game from memory. Milwall on the pitch that night and they'd beaten us 3 - 1.
sk3since03 Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 Tougher opponents than Derby i rekon! Won't be an easy game thats for sure

Marmite Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 We went Millwall on New Year's Day a few years ago. Got the tube and overtrain into Bermondsey and left the game at the end with no trouble. If you go looking for trouble at any ground you can find it but keep your self to your self and there is no issues

Went to your old den and that was nasty. New den not so much...saw Millwall v Chelsea courtesy of my boss at the time. You tore the temporary stand at the shed end up in the replay. It must be difficult still having to live like it's 1984 when you go to a football match eh?
Millwall FC Posted 9 February 2017 Author Posted 9 February 2017 I said The Den CAN be horrible, playing in the FA Cup against the so called big boys brings out the best in us. " No songs, flat atmosphere, characterless area and stadium" By no songs, do you mean no generic "Premier League" songs - where you all sing the same thing, just insert Leicester to somehow make it original By no atmoshpehere , do you mean we don't need to use paper clappers By characterless area, you mean London v Leicester You stick to "Modern" football where you all shell out for the latest shirts and get the old doris to iron on the the premier league patches, rhythmically clap your paper clappers in time with everyone else, watch all the tiddleys take selfies while the game is on and publish song sheets so you can all show how witty and original you are. We don't need all that at The Den, don't need a songsheet to sing "lino lino you're a c-unt" We're quite happy being stuck in the 70's and 80's. I'll come back after the game and read all the - disgrace to football, shouldn't get away with it, horrible place, hope they go out of existence, never going back, hope we never play them again" comments and remind you all what a flat atmosphere and how boring, characterless we are.
cheshamfox17 Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I think a slight difference with Bournemouth and Watford is that they weren't playing for a quarter final place which puts you one step away from wembley, I think in the 3rd and even 4th round that feels quite far away but at this stage its very close
An Away Move Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I don't like Millwall. And yes, I know, they don't care... In that season McGhee was our manager, or just left us, they were doing really well initially I went to that match. I lived in New Cross Gate at the time so could walk there. I wore a bobble hat with tiniest Leicester badge you've seen on it. A Millwall fan spotted it when I was at some traffic lights and he came over, squared up and literally put his nose tip on mine and just stared at me. I didn't move but looked away and nothing happened but it wasn't very pleasant. The match ended 1:1 I think. After the match all my Leicester brethren got on coaches and all of a sudden I felt quite alone as I had to then walk home. It was fine. A few years later they got done in a cup final or a play off. After the match I saw a fan and said "bad luck mate, I'm a Leicester fan whose tasted disappointment too". He told me to **** off and started screaming about how I couldn't know how he felt. In a newsagents FFS! With kids around. Ever since then I've wanted them to do badly. Hope we batter them.

Few racist chants, a few knuckle draggers, come on stop trying to big it up, ok millwall has a rep, well done, so would most clubs if their ground was built in the middle of a shit hole council estate, where the local yobs don't go to football or need to, to show us what brain dead people they are. Its clear your on the wind up, but I will entertain it, milwall looks like a place that belongs in the 80's, and it's fans, or should I say majority of fans still live in it, some of the rest of the country moved on and grew up.

crisp packet Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 If only 2k this won't make general sale. Think last time we played millwall our kids was taking the pee in family stand. Every time you sang MILLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLWALLLLLL the kids sang MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM and waved there arms 2k bandits going nuts.
AjcW Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 So technically there is still a TV slot spare... was Friday being saved in case we got through? Would certainly help us if it was.
z-layrex Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 I think Millwall have a very good chance of winning this, especially with how we are defending of late. Couple of Millwall supporting mates are really up for this.

purpleronnie Posted 9 February 2017 Posted 9 February 2017 The new den is nothing compared to the old den, now that was an intimidating place.
