What does Defoe offer that Andre Gray doesn't? I'm puzzled by his selection if I'm honest. He's not the future.

What does andre gray offer? Hes hardly gabriel batistuta is he.

We need to produce some proper players at some point in history

Nice save Stones.

I'm amazed he just kicked it out, rather than trying to control it, ****ing it up and letting Lithuania score.

Andy Carroll (Yes I know hes not in the squad) should be playing up top with Defoe, why have we got Cahill, Dier and stones playing in this side.

How many time has a England player gone to cross it  and saw only Defoe in the box, Carroll would cause havoc.

Why is the Ox playing centrally?  Has he been playing there for Arsenal this season?

Last couple of months he has, been playing ok actually. Not sure it's worthy of starting for the national team there though.

You wonder whether qualifying could be revolutionised in some way, too many games are boring processions like this one.

Cahill isn't playing.

Yes, another good reason Wenger should be sacked, he has a habit of ruining young English players, Wilcott, Ox, Chambers. Wilshere..........

Dump friendlies, they just dilute international football, basically a waste of time. Remove seeding from qualifying groups!

But we may never got to a tournament again!

Must remember to multi quote

At least Vardy is on now.

Ah,  I just got back from travelling recently so bit out of the loop with football at the moment.  He is playing far better than Dier and Rooney if he was playing to be fair, some good zippy balls into the heart of the attack.

I think we should have more than one qualifying round like every other confederation bar South America myself.

Getting rid seeding is a bloody awful idea lol internationally its not feasible really without total reform of qualifying. If it was just us we'd be putting ourselves at a major disadvantage in the finals.
