Hoddle praises Keane (correctly) before giving man of the match to Defoe.

Also gives praise to Rashford for the impact he's had since coming on but refused to mention Vardy or the impact he's had despite scoring and being on the end of a couple of other chances lol. Hoddle is such a dick.

I think we should have more than one qualifying round like every other confederation bar South America myself.

Getting rid seeding is a bloody awful idea lol internationally its not feasible really without total reform of qualifying. If it was just us we'd be putting ourselves at a major disadvantage in the finals.

There should be a per-qualifying, qualifying group, it should be an achievement to qualify for a World Cup, now its a pathetic cake walk! Remember the battle against Italy in Rome, that is what qualifying  should be like!

the World Cup should remain as only a 32 team competition and the Euro so revert to 16 teams.

Seeding is the worse thing to happen to football, look at the Champions League, its incredible dull until the last 16.

Seeding is one the reason England aren't battle harden, its so easy, what are the player learning in this group, nothing! Look at England group were is a Italy, Germany or a Holland to test us?

Hoddle's permanent erection over Spurs or ex Spurs players is getting embarrassing.

A pleasant surprise that the last 30 minutes were the best, improving a snoozefest qualifier.  You looked a lot more dangerous with Vardy in.  His style and workrate really seem to mesh.

That said, think I’ll take a pass on Malta.

With Hoddle it was either going to be him or Lallana.Tbf I don't think anyone stood out.

He just hates giving Vardy any sort of credit, he would criticise him for scoring a poor goal.

It's unfeasible for world cups and I'm pretty sure seedings were in when we drew Italy anyway..... its ok until we draw Spain Italy Germany England and holland in one group and Andorra San Marino Kosovo Gibraltar and Lichtenstein in another, as I say without international reform wouldn't work.

at the end of the day your saying there needs to be another qualifying round, you can't determine who's in that without s form of seeding

I do like Gareth Southgate, I feel like he's the most honest manager we've had in a while. At least he tells us what he wants to see, let's just hope he gets it across to the players in the dressing room

Vardy in playing down the middle and looking useful shocker!

He was wasted under Woy's tactics, and tbh largely for the most part of this season, is it just me who's thought Vardy's looked like how he played for England/Woy for us this season? Wasted out wide, until the last few weeks and surprise surprise his form has improved.

As I said, pre-qualifying groups, weeded out the weakest teams, Kosovo, San Marino. It helps those teams to develop and allows the stronger teams to go through.

Get rid of friendlies, releasing time to have larger, harder a groups, more competitive!

For a brand new nation, Kosovo are miles ahead of the likes of San Marino, Gibraltar in their quality to be fair to them.

I think theyll grow to become similar quality to that of Montenegro, competitive and capable of scoring 10 or 11 points per group.

Great being honest, I prefer him to be tactically brilliant and a complete nob! It a sad state of affairs that the best English manager is a failed Middlesbrough manager, before anyone says he was good with the under 21's so was bloody Taylor and Peace, two other poor managers!

Hes basically a nothing manager that got the job by default because he is English.

If he was from another country we wouldnt be talking about his credentials at all.

Maybe, but all these teams don't get better playing the top nation, all they learn is to defend deep and sit in there box. Its like putting a League One team in the PL and expecting them to improve!

I wouldnt say thats true of every nation to be honest.

Montenegro are quite a new nation to international football and have grown into being respectable opponents. Kazakhstan are another nation that have been represented in the champions league and theyre capable of nicking points off other teams. Kosovo have had two narrow defeats this campaign? one was Finland, not sure who they played saturday but thats pretty respectable, and of course the Faroes beat Greece twice.

Some of the smaller nations are quite a bit better than genuine whipping boy status like San Marino
