Vlad the Fox Posted 1 May 2017 Posted 1 May 2017 I celebrated the day yesterday by watching the season review dvd and victory parade, then took the family out for dinner making sure the kids understood why we were going out.

Wymsey Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Will always certainly stay in the mind over what had happened on that day and the massive street celebration after (watched on Sky News as was away with work, and it saddened me that I wasn't able to join in with the scenes etc). However, it does slightly feel that it's 'back to normal' now... But it feels like a clean slate again for next season, and hoping for a top-six finish and as far as possible in the FA Cup.
deejdeej Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Nothing can beat the way it transformed the city for a good month or two, everyone was so happy! The release of stress after that final whistle at the bridge, I didn't even enjoy the last month or two of the season because it was so tense and I found myself constantly worrying about it especially after the spurs stoke game. Oh and the epic all day session vs Everton. Wish I could relive it all!

ultrafox Posted 2 May 2017 Posted 2 May 2017 Even though today's our anniversary, and brings back the best memories a football fan can have..... don't forget..... we are still reigning Champions, as we have no clear successor yet. We will have been Champs for more than a calendar year. It's not in the past. It's still in the NOW! Let's enjoy every second...and milk it to the end! We know what we are! Still Champions Or England! (for a couple weeks more)
