He tried to force Sporting to sell him last year, even submitting a letter to one of our major newspapers on deadline day (?) saying he'd move that day. Of course, at the end of the day nothing happened because losing him would be too big a blow for Sporting. Eventually it was agreed between him and the board that if another club came in with an offer of 30M€ again, it would be accepted. It was pretty much implicit that Adrien would 100% be leaving this year. But right now, the only club interested in him is Leicester. So Leicester now has Sporting by the balls: they are aware of the situation, they know Adrien wants to leave and they know he'll do everything in his power to force Sporting to accept even a low-ball offer like £15M. That's not a good sale for Sporting though, so rumour is Sporting is only willing to sell for 25M€ (~£27M). As a Sporting fan, I don't really know what to think. Him staying would be great for us on the field, but awful for Adrien as a person and for the locker room. Imagine being in his shoes and not being allowed to move AGAIN? On the other hand, Adrien leaving for £15M wouldn't be good business because he's worth more than that to us...

I'm gonna be honest, I don't mind him leaving so much this year as last year, we got an amazing player for his position in Bruno Fernandes. Plus, he's a year older, his last season wasn't quite on par with the one before. However, the numbers being floated here, 15 million sterling, it just feels wrong. Especially if you bag 32 for Drinkwater.
