Strasbourg at home, last match of the season May 19th.

If we're not in the FA cup final that weekend I can see a few City fans going overy for a French title celebration.

Unlikely to happen but wouldn't it be great if Nantes "did a Leicester"

1-0 against 10 men bottom of the league, who also missed a penalty last minute. Looking at Nantes goals for and against they are just hanging on in there before the collapse in form.

Just got myself updated. Great effort so far, hope he and his team can keep it up.

It will be a tough gig as Nantes as a team really are very very average

great effort by Ranieri so far

It’s France bud, PSG have got £200 million players playing for them

Monaco won the title last season and are still half decent (minus the 74 players they sold to Man City etc this summer)

Lyon are half decent

otherwise they are all pretty average

Absolutely over the moon for Claudio. I probably sound like I'm all that's wrong with modern football because I still agree with the decision to move him on, but it hasn't made me love the bloke any less. If he could reach Europe that'd be superb.

He's actually doing pretty well with the team of plonkers he has. They're not scoring a lot but defending very well and still winning.

I've been surprised at him so far. I thought he looked absolutely shot to bits here in the end and thought this would go pear shaped too. I mean, I still think it probably will, but he's made a very decent start.

I really wish things had been different and he was still with us, comfortable in the table after a great run in Europe.

He made mistakes, of course, but the players need to take a long hard look at themselves too and how a fantastic man was treated towards the end of his brief but exhilarating tenure.

Get the man back at the ground asap and we can give him the ovation he deserves.
