binned off watching football for darts a few weeks ago. its brilliant. mad as a box of frogs with walk ons, announcers, pissed up crowd and cheerleaders but im all for it. dartboard being delivered thursday too

The two Lukes are likely to dominate the Premier league but Littler had to come back from 5-1 v Rob Cross earlier.

Just been humbled 3-1 by my 11 year old, with him getting his first ever 180 with the first three darts of the match. He almost followed it up straight away but it deflected off course for a 140.

 

He finished the match with a 58.9 average.

Brilliant game between Greaves and Humphries. He had to earn his coin there. Absolutely love the UK Open, complete chaos, the FA Cup of Darts.

James Wade love or hate just knows how to go deep in tournaments.

 

His consistency over the last 20 odd years is so so underrated. 
 

Wouldn’t bet against a Clayton shithouse tonight, finding some form and one of those able to drag a Littler into his type of game if it isn’t going well

Wadey is very honest in his interviews as well.........Just search on you tube.....bit of a marmite character,but i think he's done well to get on in in life with the problems he has.

I caught his interview earlier.

With maturity I honestly think Littler will work more on his double finish.

 

For now he pretty much admits he loves his big scoring and fancy check outs.

 

Frightening, just no other words for what he’s capable of if/when it all just clicks in his own head

Yeah,I thought that....I think he's toned down his interviews from a few years ago.....maybe being hit from the DRA a few times.....but he's settled down alot.....got kids and a wife(who is not bad!)But I think he's just getting older!

Anyone manage to get tickets for Nottingham? Thought i'd ask in here given the locality! 

If anyone is looking to shift a couple i'd be willing to take them off your hands  

 

Also just registered for access to the world series Amsterdam event in September, fingers crossed for that one!

Never been to a world series Event(hope you get tickets!)Been to a couple of Euro Tours in Prague and Munich and they are brilliant! Been to the Premier League a few times(Nottingham,Birmingham,Sheffield) but don't bother with them now,too many who just want to be their and get on telly,but haven't got a clue about darts(Darts Snob Coming out!)Better off going to the Grand Prix in Leicester or Grand Slam in Wolves.

How are you getting on with the darts mate?Harder than it looks ain't it! I've been playing 20 odd years and never hit a 180.....usually 26!

usually takes me about 12 darts to get a 180. not sure it counts   honestly im just having a lot of fun with it, trying out different set ups with the darts themselves, trying to find a rythem you know. its fun with the kids too and the wife used to play for a team so we are having some fun games. its a really cheap hobby too, before i got my own darts i was throwing the wifes 30g ones, i bought some 26g from harrows which are fine, not sure i like the grip but im sticking with them for a while, not sure to try even lower or go higher again. as far as watching it goes, its on a lot more than i thought, skipped a few tournaments on tv so i dont get burned out watching them all. soon as i did littler started winning everything again so i guess i should watch the next one and give bunting a chance at something
