I'm pretty confident that Lincoln city can challenge for back to back promotions. They've beaten Millwall and Forest in pre-season, and they looked comfortable in beating Walsall yesterday. I'm off to Wycombe away on Saturday.

As for league 1 , I fancy Blackburn to come straight back up.

Just hoping my Pies can make the playoff.

Tough opener in Coventry.

Leicester play Liverpool the day that Notts county play Lincoln, so can't go to Meadow Lane.

Wondering if Bradford might actually do it this year. My local side MK could be in with a shout, though I'm not sure they've got enough goals in the side.

So are Coventry actually going to leave the Ricoh Arena to a smaller ground?

It would make sense given their fall and supporters' discontent with its owners.

It does make you think whether a new ground would actually be the right thing for a club long-term. It's been a mess since they first moved in the Ricoh.

Signed up for iFollow so I can watch Notts this season. $190, so we better have a good season!

Down a goal at the half to Coventry.

Ricoh Arena is empty.

Jones hat trick sealed it? Cov should be up there, Robins knows what he's doing.

What did the attendance look like ?

Jones was fantastic for Coventry. Made us look stupid at the back.

We had some decent chances though. So wasn't as bad as the final score showed.

They announced the attendance at 10K. Was supposed to be around 1400 from County, but I couldn't tell from the single camera that showed the match.

edit- We had 1727 at the match, which is decent.

First team since Wolves in 1962, apparently.

It stands out because of the score but Luton are amongst the favourites so the result isn't surprising.

Enjoyable day at Wycombe, nice ground. Lincoln were the better team, but conceded to sloppy goals from free kicks. Akinfenwa is useless. Can't run , can't jump. All he does is foul people.

What made it even more weirder is that Alan Sheenan played as CAM in that match!

Yeovil scored first, must have made them mad!

Good result today at the Lane!

Thanks mostly/entirely to our Florist loanee.

Our chant should be "Get the ball to Jorge!".

Side note: Harry's younger brother, Laurence Maguire came on as a sub for Chesterfield.

A friend at work and his 2 lads are Notts County season ticket holders and have been for 3 years now I think. What are you generally expecting this season @spacemunky?

I'd be a season ticket holder if I was there for sure. Happy this season that I can actually watch the matches with iFollow.

Hopefully Nolan can get the lads on track.

I'm hoping top 6, but I can't say I'm expecting it.

We were very good yesterday. Hopefully this is finally the year for some good fortune.

Will be. Robins knows his stuff around that level.

Newport at home next isn't it... should be looking for another 3 points.

Great result today at Wycombe!

Notts up 2-0 at the half(thanks to a comical OG).

Thought we'd bottled it in the second half when they tied it up 2-2. But the lads showed some fight with two scrappy late goals.

Can't recall the last time we scored 4 in a match.
