Thought they might say something about this and act as though they are actually doing some fan engagement with the FAB.

It’s puff piece stuff but happy for those who’ve been fighting hard on it that there is movement despite it being glacier

I think we can safely say that the expansion is a distant pipe dream judging by this comment…

Considerations for the introduction of safe standing areas has formed part of our long-term plans for the expansion of the stadium site for some time, and that continues to be our position. However, with new cost-effective options for installation becoming more accessible in a shorter timeframe, we feel the time is right to bring the conversation forward and look at complementary options that may be introduced quickly in parallel to our longer term plans.

It probably won’t happen. Depends massively if we become a yo-yo club

How many more consultations need they bloody Need?

Just putting off the decision as long as they can so they don’t have to spend any money

I doubt its money, much more not wanting the oiks to get what they ask for.

Blimey, 15 years it must be some boys down there have been fighting for this.

Longer. Absolutely crazy how opposed LCFC have been to this for so long.

Does it impact capacity at all in the are they introduce it?

It'll be a one to one ratio, so no.

The only way they might lose capacity is if they need to widen aisles to open up sightlines, but there's a number of ways around that

Reckon if it ever did happen they'll just whack them in the area where most stand,  I'd be amazed if they widened the scope.

Wouldn't surprise me if they put it in an area where most sit, claim no one used it and then remove

With zero impact on atmosphere

This could be the biggest opportunity since the stadium move to finally change the layout, so we've got to make sure it's done in the right way.

That's depending of course on the scale of the installation, and unfortunately the club's reluctant stance over the years suggests they will look to do the bare minimum instead.

Lets hope they look at the work put in by the fan groups which frustratingly has been with them for weeks without acknowledgment.

Plus take up the request on a meeting with the stakeholders regarding it's location, roll out and implmentation.
