How hard is it to get your head around the fact he played with an injury for 6 months?

He started on the bench for at least one of those finals. I am looking forward to seeing him play, not sure if he fits in a 2 in CM though.

It's Danny Drinkwater I'm claiming he's better than, don't have to be a world beater to do that, he isn't Luka Modric.

DD at his best is hugely underrated. You watch him at Chelsea. I fully expect him to work his wsy into both the Chelsea and England first elevens.

Just making the point he was club captain but didn't necessarily start for them every week. He was nearly sold to Sunderland last season. Theres no way you've seen enough of Iborra to make that judgement just yet. i hope you are right though fox because our midfield is pony at the minute.

He won't need to work at all to do that now he's at Chelsea, he's got a better chance of starting for England as a Chelsea bench warmer than he has starting for Leicester every week.
irishfoxkev Posted 14 September 2017 Posted 14 September 2017 Can we stick with the script please......opened this Adrien Silva thread hoping there may be positive news and a lot of the posts I hadn't read are arguments over whether Drinky is better than Iborra. ???

Don't think he even made the bench for the CL match. Is he injured?

Chelsea only signed him to make up their home grown numbers, of this I'm fairly certain so I wouldn't be surprised if he just didn't get picked.
bpfox Posted 14 September 2017 Posted 14 September 2017 does anyone know if we have a pleaded fifa decision or if we will and if not why?

No that difficult to get into the England set up when you consider we have Hendo and Livermore as our main men at the moment!!
Guest Posted 14 September 2017 Posted 14 September 2017 Ok maybe i got slightly carried with the Chelsea first team. But fabregas is dropping off quite quickly so he might get a shot within the next 18 months.
