Goodnews. . ... otherwuse we are one injury away from king being a first choice.

Ps i like king and admire his willingness and effort to do what is asked of him.  Yet he is not pl quality. ... however I am glad hes on the pay role

I really struggle to see this going positively for us.

It's already been 12 days and we've heard fvck all. I think we (as fans) need to accept this is looking very unlikely and just move on. If something happens to the contrary great, but as far as I see it we won't see Silva until January.

But you could equally take a positive view of this - it's already 12 days and so far we haven't heard confirmation of FIFA's decision (or rebuttal of an appeal). I prefer to keep that little hope alive.

where there's a flickering light there may be life. I can't imagine the Vichai and the King Power boys would be happy and I bet they're trying through all the channels. However it don't look promising - FIFA are an intolerant bunch unless there's corrupt money changing hands then it's different. This season I suspect will be a struggle now as we are lacking a spark and some creativeness in those key areas.

FIFA are standing by the ruling and gave the Mercury a statement earlier today which didn’t cast any further light on the situation.

“FIFA has been contacted by The Football Association in connection with the registration of the player Adrien Silva and the club FC Leicester City,” the statement read.

“FIFA has replied accordingly providing reference to applicable regulations.”

The FA are willing to represent City’s argument when they receive a request from City and have been looking at the example of John Guidetti’s loan switch from Manchester City to Celtic.

FIFA ruled the submission came too late but the Scottish FA and the Scottish Premier League both led an appeal on behalf of Celtic which was successful.

On the assumption we are not going to receive any common sense decision from FIFA, I just hope the Owners change things on recruitment front NOW and put in place people that know what they are doing ahead of the January, 2018 window.  The current regime have placed us in a potentially difficult place and I am sorry to have to say this, but people that screw-up in business like this are usually removed.   This situation has also affected Shakey's position, which together with Silva's inactive 4 months is a right old mess and frankly embarrassing for King Power and Leicester City .

Nice to know the FA will represent us considering Celtic's appeal was successful, would hope the clubs legal experts and the FA are close to putting forward an appeal.

We must be grateful for small mercies. Our owners have avoided any acerbic comments from the Sporting president unlike the West Ham owners, who were referred to as " the dildo twins" when the Carvalho transfer negotiations failed.

We definitely have more depth, though the quality up top is inferior ti Ndidi/DD if Iborra has to nurse this groin strain all season like Slimani did.

Iborra is a better footballer than Drinkwater

Where are we with this?

Have the Club yet to appeal against the pedantic, intransigent, myopic and inflexible FIFA decision?

You cant say things like that around here! You have to have inside info and 'know what you're talking about'

Joining all the obvious dots together just doesnt cut it

It looks like Silva's got f**k all to do so he just walks the streets, doing the odd selfie with people who recognise him ?

I hear he's working at asda helping you pack your bags at the checkout ?
