So true.

I always find the McDonald's advert taking a swipe at 'fancy coffee' intensely irritating.   Particularly given I know, without having to sully my precious lips, that their coffee will be scolding, watery bilge scum. It feeds in to that liberal elite bollocks, a sneering reverse snobbery.

Fact is, a really good coffee is an entirely different beast from a really sh1t one.  Sh1te includes Costa and Starbucks.  In the same way a supermarket sandwich or a subway is basically a totally different product from something CURATED BY AN ARTISANAL BAKERY THERE I DID IT I ADMITTED I AM PART OF THE WOKERATI LIBERAL ELITE.

The fact is, where I can and can afford it, I like to eat and drink nice things as opposed to utter rubbish.  That includes coffee.

Dont actually think McDonald’s coffee is that bad to be fair, Its my go to quick coffee over the likes of Starbucks, Costa (the worst) and the rest. Solid and cheap coffee on the go.

Forgetting to ask for milk when ordering a coffee (or tea) abroad is right up there with unintentionally buying sparkling water abroad - as quite annoying things you do - abroad.

'Keep politics out of football' is an incredibly stupid statement. For starters, just like with everything, football and all sport is directly influenced by government policy. Also, football clubs such as Barcelona, Celtic, Athletic Bilbao etc. are naturally deeply entrenched in politics due to the circumstances of their formation and/or events that have occured throughout their existence.

”Keep politics out of x” is an inherently extremely political statement in and of itself. Politics affects everything and when you say you want to keep politics out of something what you are actually saying is you strongly support the political status quo and  strongly oppose any political change in that field whatsoever.

I find that people who claim that politics should be kept out of football effectively mean 'keep YOUR politics out of football'. They suddenly fall silent whenever their political position is represented in football.

See those stickers that were doing the rounds with our badge on them recently. Those sort of people.

I think Rachel Reeves is the worst Chancellor in living memory - like complete and utter dogshite

George Osborne takes that crown imo. We are still massively suffering the consequences of it.

He inherited a bag of shite from the previous government - we were properly in the crap when he took over

The economic indicators since she took the reins are terrible - serious incompetence

Noted the title of this thread but omg you cannot believe that. Kwasi and Liz committed an act of treason on sept 23 2022. People forget how malicious their acts on that day were. No number of Chinese and Russian spies could cause the damage they did that fateful day

It was the aftermath of a global financial crisis. There was an opportunity to borrow to invest in infrastructure projects that could have kickstarted the economy when interest rates were at their lowest. Instead he implemented a program which stripped services to the bare bones which resulted in overcrowded prisons that in turn meant that prisoners were having to be released early, an asylum system where claims were not being processed, a health service with waiting lists going through the roof and was left badly unprepared for a pandemic, and crucially is believed to have been responsible for over 300,000 excess deaths while in office.

Genuine question - which indicators?

Don't get impatient for the answer from him, he'll have to wait until the Daily Mail or right wing echo chamber tell him which ones that fits his narrative.

Hope we hear soon though.

She really hasn't.

Captain khazi n his Trussenomics caused me to pay an additional £600 a month in interest on my mortgage for the next 3 years.

Bloke was inept.
