West Brom (H) Next Up

Chadli will cause us some bother tonight if he plays, there's always one rogue who barely plays but does against us and has a blinder, it'll be him.

I hope we give Iheanacho as close to 90 minutes as possible tonight, just play the man. We need to build a team around him and Vardy up front otherwise why the fcuk spend all summer chasing him. He'd have been better off staying at Man City.

I imagine he'd probably have had more playing time by now if he stayed at City haha. Just waiting for Shakey to say Ulloa is ahead of him on merit in one of his interviews.

Was thinking I might have more optimism today, but still can't see past a comfortable West Brom win. £50 on them to win at 16/5 should soften the blow.

Hope we haven't been tucked up with Iheanacho?...

Perhaps he was just an average player made to look good by playing with some world class players at Manchester City?

Will be interested to see the selection tonight.

If it is back to Albrighton and King it will highlight (to me) that Shakey is stubborn and blind. If we actually play some of our multi million pound signings it would show that he is going for the win and understands that 6 points from the next two are a must.

I actually wouldn't mind Slimani playing tonight against their big CB's. He's looked ok this year and clearly wants to put the effort in but like Gray, he needs a run in the team. Not 70 mins once every 2 months.

Could be total bollocks but I was talking to someone who works at the club yesterday and he claimed the coaching staff can't believe how dopey and incapable Iheanacho is, said he is totally in his own World and looks out his depth on the training pitch most of the time.

I'm not looking forward to this game at all, it's going to be scrappy, windy and a game that could be terrible, we have got to fight like hell and I'm not sure this current group is prepared to do that.

I think we could have our lowest home attendance for a while, not sold out, on television and I know about 7-8 season ticket holders personally who can't be bothered to make the effort. :(

not as confident today we can pick up a result tonight. The promise of 50mph winds will play havoc with our one dimensional ball over the top game and I fear it won't work for us..again.

Man City seems the perfect place for him right now, free scoring and the luxury of being able to rest players and rotate when needs be. I could see him regularly getting a goal or two at the end of games and his confidence and progression ticking along nicely, very much like he did the season before last but now he'd get even more.

I'm hoping it's more our ineptitude on things than Iheanacho being pony. I've seen enough of him prior to coming here where he looks a serious talent, but it would be typical of us hahaaa. Us and Nigerian strikers have previous.

Hahahaaaaa that is indeed worrying but technically I think he's got a lot of class, we'll soon knock that out of him though.

Would love to see Nacho, Iborra, Slim in for Albrighton, King and Okazaki but doubt it will happen, why play £70m worth of signings when you have about £5m worth to bore you to death............

Not with the form Albrighton's been in. He'll be first-time hoofing it to the first man's ankles all game.

Cant argue with that to be fair, he has been atrocious. Marc is a confidence player, if somehow he can provide an assist, it will spur him on and increase his form.

What formation are you playing there? Only 1 winger and a very defensive full back in Simpson who doesn't get forward to provide crosses?

Will be forced to miss the match due to a coaching commitment. Don't expect anything but a snooze fest, unfortunately.

Not even a shitefest?

On the contrary- the winds might divert the ball from its usual course of straight onto the centre-back's forehead and into the channels.

We can't be the team in Green.... The passes are finding their man!

And one of them was forward.

I so hope this IS bollox.

Surely the club haven't wasted another 25 mill on a nothing striker?
