One or two more matches.

We've had a tough start, but we've not started our easier games at all well, and if we have a rest, regroup and rethink and still can't beat West Brom then it looks like curtains. On that form we'll be cemented to the relegation zone by Christmas.

Win it, and there's a glimmer of hope we've learnt from our mistakes and have kept our team spirit alive.

Palace havent scored a goal yet and they arent even cermented in the relegation zone!

N'didi is fit!!

Was just cramp.

Vardy also fit to start.

Huth also still out, some injury that has proved to be! Got to ask yourself if its the beginning of the end for a player when they get past 30 and cant shake off an injury, especially someone as strong as Huth!

Gray and Mahrez would surely be too gung-ho and leave Simpson and Fuchs totally exposed.

I'm all for picking an attacking team but if West Brom ended up picking us off on the counter 3 times and winning the game Shakey would be in serious bother.

I would consider offering it to Chris Coleman if Shakey gets the boot. Wagner and Silva won't come now.

Hoping for a morale boosting victory here though akin to the win at home to Liverpool last season under Shakey.

Are you on the wind-up? The similarities between Coleman and Shakespeare are huge. The football Wales have served up since the group stages at the Euro's has been awful.

he had an operation and originally was predicted to be out until this month. he appeared to be ready much earlier but clearly has had a reaction each time he has played for the U23's.  Clearly a concern.  Vardy and ndidi fit means we will be standard 4-4-1-1 against a team which won't.

How often have we had this with out players in the last 18 months. Injury, operation, comback and then a setback in their very first game.

I think this will be our line-up:

                         Kasper

Simpson    Maguire     Morgan     Fuchs

Mahrez     Ndidi      Iborra      Gray

               Ihenacho     Vardy

Think it ends 1-1 in a game devoid of quality. Goals from set pieces and crosses when they come.

Be nice if the majority of the crowd actively cheered us on rather than moan. Whilst the game's underway, get behind em regardless of your opinions.

It's tough though.

Don't get me wrong, I'll sing and cheer etc but when things are frustrating they are bound to show. Performances haven't been good or exciting and that's the problem.

And that's not just us, it's every club.

Everyone is going on about the attack but our defence needs attention. We should match them up.

Schmeichel

Simpson Morgan Maguire Fuchs

Dragovic Huth Amartey

Albrighton Iborra Chilwell/Benaluane

This is the way forward I'm surprised no-one has mentioned this line up already.

My own match performances have been very good.  I have relentlessly dissed the ref and his cheating linos.  Of couse i reserve the right to come on to foxes talk and agree they had quite a good game.

Similarly i cheer craig and the boys on during the match.... but later fortified with jd i come on here and moan like .....a moaner

Let's just pray Shakes doesn't throw Andy King at them. They have a couple of proper midfielders in Barry and Krychowiak, fortunately none of them super creative although the latter has a thing for through balls. I wish they started Livermare, it could make things a bit easier for us. Their defense and strikers out of form, we should be at them from the get go, torment them with our wingers and let them make mistakes. Vards, Shinji, Gray and Mahrez should start. Much depends on how rusty Vince still is and if Ndidi can get back in form. We need to win this but will be lucky to get a draw. Sorry my glass is half empty...

They've also got that Oliver Burke guy who's meant to be quite good, in fact all of their midfielders would get into our team right now.

It's very hard to cheer the shit that's been on site lately. As soon as we string 2 or 3 passes together the crowd does start getting excited but it's difficult to cheer a lot of what we've seen recently.

But I do agree we could be a better crowd overall.

Time Iheanacho was asked to step up and be the superstar he's supposed to be. Got to be 3-4-1-2 for me.

Agreed.

I want to see us start using the new players.

Nope :P

Coleman has got the best out of a crap squad of players on paper, to progress to the Semi-Finals further than England have got in a long time, with much stronger squads on paper.

He's open to returning to club football and ideally the Premier League and I believe he can get more out of our squad than Shakespeare will.

We all know on this forum Shakespeare will be gone fairly soon, like many assistant managers promoted to numero uno of the past (Sammy Lee, John Carver, Terry Connor, Ryan Giggs). Have any promoted assistants actually done well in the Premier League? I can't think of any in the last 20 years at least.

Who else can we get? We've missed the boat on progressive up and coming managers that may have transformed our club, there won't be a great list on the betting market when Shakespeare leaves either by Christmas or early 2018.

Average possession in the league.

19. Leicester  (41.8%)

20. West Brom (40.4%)

Pass success rate in the league

18. West Brom  (71.8%)

20. Leicester  (71%)

Both us & WBA wil put the nation to sleep on Monday night football. We are just as turd as each other.

For comparison, Stoke have 45.2% possession and 77% pass success rate. Burnley got 44% possession and 72.5 pass success rate. Brighton got 46.4 possession and 78.4 pass success rate. Yes, ****ing Brighton are better passers than us and keep the ball better than us.

We have better individual players than Burnley and Brighton, as shown how easily we beat BHA, but yet we are made to look like a bunch of cloggers against any half decent passing side. Over £100m spent in the last 3 windows and we got nothing to show for it.

It really does make you wonder what the hell they were thinking doesn't it. We have four games on TV in the next couple of months and I cannot make a case for a single one of them being televised.

They wanted to put on an MNF to compete with BT in the week and had to use two teams not in europe to do it
