GaelicFox Posted 9 November 2017 Posted 9 November 2017 Massive game ... both countries desperately need this tournament huge current and past LCFC involved on both sides I genuinely worry about this for Ireland ... but I’m pessimistic about our chances all the time
purpleronnie Posted 9 November 2017 Posted 9 November 2017 Looks like every fan in the ground is standing Imagine that at Wembley.

We'll still have great support regardless of how the national team is going. Agree we're up against it though. Kasper has hit form again lately. Wouldn't like a penalty shoot out!
Nalis Posted 9 November 2017 Posted 9 November 2017 Unfortunately for Ireland Denmark are a lot better than media give them credit for.

Arriba Los Zorros Posted 10 November 2017 Posted 10 November 2017 Irish will be horrible to watch as ever, sit back with 10 behind the ball hoofing it forward to Walters or Long, and probably score from their only corner or a defensive mistake, then put 11 behind the ball to see out a 1-0. Then claim it was a great performance

shen Posted 11 November 2017 Posted 11 November 2017 I don't believe Denmark will get better chances than the ones they've already spurned
Vacamion Posted 11 November 2017 Posted 11 November 2017 If Ireland get anything out of this fixture, there is no justice. Denmark have at least tried to play, Ireland have parked the bus and occasionally lumped it forward. Fair play to both goalies, who have done well when called upon.
shen Posted 11 November 2017 Posted 11 November 2017 I don't blame RoI for playing the way they are. They really aren't very good on the ball.

We have very good ball players MON is a dinosaur that’s the issue !!! This shite is sickening to watch denmark are shite as well
Kitchandro Posted 11 November 2017 Posted 11 November 2017 So, listening to the commentary, if somebody gets booked they miss the 2nd leg?! What a shite rule that is.

Kitchandro Posted 11 November 2017 Posted 11 November 2017 Denmark lood tidy in possession but they've not created much. Two good chances in the first half but that's not a lot considering they've dominated possession.

They're too slow and with literally 10 RoI players in the box, it makes it extremely unlikely that any chances occur from anything else than deflections or defensive mixups.
