The 5-Live commentary was hilarious. They really couldn't decide what to call the teams. Alan Green announced early doors that to avoid confusion, he and McCoist shouldn't refer to City.... then proceeded in the next breath to do just that. He went on about how he once got himself in trouble during a Leeds Vs United match and wouldn't make that mistake again.

 

Saying Manchester City was obviously becoming too difficult for the pair of them and more often than not it was City vs Bristol.

I still want Man City to go through as we're probably just about favourites to finish 7th and that position will be good enough for Europa League football assuming the usual suspects win both cups between them.

They've given themselves a chance, fair play. Normally I'd be cheering them on - and I suppose I still am a bit - but I'm gagging for Europe again so I'm hoping they fall short.

With you here mate, self interest prevails. People turn their nose up at the Europa but I'd love it.

To be fair, if Leicester are playing Man City, I still refer to Man City as City. I find it weird to call us "City".

I think that is fair. Probably more relevant in this case though as Bristol as a city has two teams

Nothing worse than seeing people refer to them as "Bristol" as if there isn't another league club from Bristol.

You'd think Man City fans would have a bit of class about them given their club's performances recently, and indulge in a bit of harmless banter.

Hope they can manage to get promotion, as they seem a decent well-run club.

Wouldn't really like to see them and Derby fail to attain going up, and potentially see Cardiff and Preston doing so in the process.
