I think that we are pretty much all agreed that Mahrez is the most naturally talented player to have worn the shirt.

I don't think that we are a club that has been over-burdened with flair players, we have had great workhorses like Walsh and Lennon, deadly strikers like Vardy and Lineker but who would run Mahrez closest as most naturally gifted?

I never saw the seventies sides so I think I'll have to go for Heskey.  Miles below Riyad of course but before Liverpool got hold of him and turned him into a big lump centre forward foil for Michael Owen he was pretty electric at times for us and could terrorise defenders.

I was 6 when I first went down in 1969 so a tad too young to remember and appreciate Davie Gibson but what my Grandad,RIP, always told me about the man will do for me!

Frank Worthington for me. Muzzy is up there too.

Never saw Wortho but Muzzy is a good shout.

I’d say for technical ability Izzet is the second best in my lifetime. Never can remember any proper flair players here lol

Knockaert was exciting to watch at times but had no pace

Septimus Smith

Another good one.

I think he was often called the most gifted pre Mahrez.  Played for the 1920's (nearly) title winners I believe.

Who I remember well , Wortho,Weller and Glover were v special players.

Albrighton is like a modern day Glover ...   buts let’s hope his career doesn’t follow the same path ...
