New Series of Taskmaster?

Winning an episode seems to be a poisoned chalice,  having to go up on the stage and do awkward poses with the prizes.  

 

On Rosie Jones series,  enjoying it so far with a crush on Emma Sida.

This season has certainly brought me back in, everyone is contributing in task & especially with the live engagements between them all and Greg/Alex being the funniest for a long time.

The tasks themselves have stepped up again with a few of the previous 1s being a bit lame making me think it’s run its course but fair play to this season.

It's always been awkward hasn't it. I love the prize round itself but I'm surprised they haven't ever found a better way of ending it or just changing it up somehow.

I was impressed with Phil's gyration.

 

On that first swing I think he might have been the only person who properly remained standing, so it was a bit harsh.

And Champion of Champions (which was to be expected) means the return of one of my favourites, Sam Campbell!

Surprised to see Susie Dent agree to do it. She must be a fan of the show. 

 

I'd much rather see Rachel Riley do it. At the same time as Carol Vorderman would be epic.

I think Susie Dent being on it is great, certainly not surprising. Think that she will enjoy it and be good at it.

Watched the Champion of Champions last night and found Sam Campbell incredibly annoying, which is a shame because I thought he was quite funny in is series.

I caught a preview on youtube and he seems quite different and full of himself. I know a few people online who went and saw his tour after the series. It seemed either he was putting on a show for Taskmaster or it slightly went to his head. Seemed a bit full of himself they said

Just watching it now so only first impressions, but his face says he doesn't even want to be there.

Watched the whole thing having read the first two comments. Didn't particularly notice it at all during the tasks, only a little bit in the studio, which I imagine is filmed some time later. Could just be he was feeling under the weather that day.

Felt the whole Champion vs Champions episode felt really rushed, and Sam Campbell came across as a bit of an idiot which is a shame as really enjoyed him in his series.

Should be good. Armando should be good at thinking outside the box, don't really know much about Kumail, though I have seen him on stuff before and Joanna Page I often find annoying.

First time in a few years that I'm fully aware of who all 5 are. Could be one of the better series

Sam Campbell was on QI this week and was hilarious.

 

Seriously, you make one bad show and people lump in on you.
