Grow up and get behind Riyad, or: stop listening to the press and wait and see how he reacts on the pitch

the ox and lingard get paid more than mahrez!

Lingard is earning £100k per week, as well.

And he is starting to play like he deserves that kind of money.

Oxlade-Chamberlain earns marginally more and is currently stealing a living.

Besides, we don‘t know what additional benefits players have (received) to sweeten each deal.

just like price tags, van dijk and coutinho prices were inflated but that didn't stop you from valuing riyad high because of them.

But again you’ve picked the examples that suit your arguement and dismissed the Kane example. He was hoot signing the contract and unwilling to sign a new deal on more money so he’s adequately paid

You rate VVD above Mahrez in terms of value?

I am firmly starting to believe you are his agent my friend :)

Am enjoying your endless love and support for Riyad though, keep posting :)

oh i wish. we are in a war here lol

i said that all parties made a mistake (including mahrez) and other posters are only blaming mahrez. am i the crazy one here? if i had a mahrez pro-agenda other posters have an agenda against him.

Utd and Liverpool can basically pay whatever wages they want as their incomings are huge compared to ours so FFP can’t touch them whereas we’re walking a fine line as our incomings aren’t big enough to start paying £200k a week wage

ok, let's say that. what about van dijk, he was a 75 million and is paid 170k

Anyway I can’t talk about this anymore as I thought it was pretty straightforward. Never seen a club try to lowball a team for their prized asset and it kick up so much of a fuss because we dared to reject it.

There's a point you keep making about everything he's done for us I keep losing you after! lol

So after all he's done for the club, the club knock 15% off. Now after everything the club has done for him we add 20% on. Fair?

To be fair, I‘d rather we come back to slating Riyad‘s agent and Manchester City mainly, because they are the two biggest culprits here.

The agent, because he tried to force a move 24hrs before transfer deadline. I‘m also convinced he or someone in Riyad‘s entourage is responsible for spreading rumors with regards to the timing of said transfer request, trying to put the blame on LCFC.

Mahrez is poorly advised.

Manchester City for trying to unsettle a highly-rated player with plenty of pedigree with no formal offer at the very last minute. Weren‘t that interested, were they?

I would give your comments a like because I enjoy them and I think you conduct yourself with class despite having a war with everyone on here lol , but I cant click like because I always disagree with something you say in each comment :(

People on here will have a bias towards the club.

But objectively I really dont think the owners are to blame here.  It just isnt appropriate that they do him any sort of favour at their expense, and the suggestion that they are making unreasonable selling demans to avoid a sale is untrue, imo

lol yeah, fair enough. the only thing is, the club is getting most of the fee, not the player

And, as much as I hate Tottenham,  Kane does seem to be very loyal to his club!

Mahrez needs to take a leaf out of his book and respect his club that's invested and nurtured him and made him into the player he is today!

Liverpool have a completely different wage structure compared to ours and it remains to be seen for how much longer they can maintain that.

With every new player they sign, the wage structure increases. Players, or shall I say agents, will continue to demand more and more money.

He gets his super wages though! I think 80 million was Fair. Do you not think that man city would have paid that if they had really wanted him? Had he seriously been a long term target? Surely you agree they'd have offered more than they pay for defenders?

It‘s not leeching if we value our most talented player at £95m.

We are under no obligation to sell.

I think he ment the leech at spurs bud

Any 'growing up' needs to be done by Riyad and his agent. They tried to take advantage of a ridiculously late bid by Man City.

i think we can manage to give one player a higher wage because of what the club can get for him in the future (plus, he is our best player after all)

And that’s what we did. How can we give him a bigger wage when he won’t sign a new contract? Genuine question

And you can’t tell me Vardy didn’t deserve to be on the same
