He’s a boring cvnt who plays shit football. If we dont win the cup we should get rid. Southampton finished 8th and nearly won a cup with worse players and they fvcked him off, are we less ambitious than Southampton?

Remind me where Saints are now...

Have a word. We're eighth in the Premier League and have a decent chance of winning the Cup. We've hit a shit run of form, granted, but all the nobbers going overboard about how we're rubbish to watch and how time's running out for Puel need to give their head a wobble and get a sense of perspective. Half the division would kill to be in our position at the moment, and our fanbase would have too before 2015-16 happened.

Love a nobber now and then, not enough of them on this forum.  I try to use it whenever I can.  X

I like to think it is a vocal minority for, if I dwell on it too long and let the thought enter me that it might be a majority, I truly do contemplate just giving up.   I do wonder sometimes what people "expect".  For me 8th and a cup run is pretty much where we should be right now.  Do I want more?  Of course but I don't EXPECT it.  It's weird.  We won the league in the greatest ever upset in world club sport history and somehow we were meant to then use that as a springboard to challenge every year?  OK, so we maybe didn't buy particularly wisely but we have no right to be a top 3 team (just yet).  Look at Arsenal, Utd, Liverpool, Chelsea, all way bigger than us and with a history and infrastructure way way beyond ours.  And then we win the league and suddenly we should be able to spunk a few million and suddenly be one of the big boys?  Our trajectory since the new owners came in has been upwards.  The title win was a fvcking beautiful freak but it must be seen as an outlier.  If you remove that we are on a steady upwards trajectory and I honestly think our club is healthier than it has been in my lifetime.  Progress is slow.  I want us to win the league again but without another miracle you really can only EXPECT to win the league with slow, continual growth and development.  Arsenal and Utd have been trying for years.

Anyway, my already tiny penis is shrivelling even further just writing this as I am boring even myself so I will stop.

Up the Foxes.

Great post but not sure of the relevance of the highlighted paragraph! (TMI). lol

Hates a strong word and I doubt few would apply that to Puel. But there are a sizable amount of posters on here and other sites who think he's not up to the job it's not just one or two naysayers. Hopefully, everyone is allowed an opinion so long as it's kept within the bounds of reasonable argument and as the matches go on the number of people unhappy with Puel grows, it happened the same even with Ranieri and Shakey, It wasn't that we hated them it was because we could see they had lost it and would get us relegated. My fear with Puel is not relegation but what he would do to us next season if allowed to stay.

I think you may be right but I think he should be allowed a summer transfer window at the very least. I think you can see when a managers time is up when you see players aren’t playing for them but I don’t believe that be the case.

Imo complacency has kicked in and it’s something he needs to address but nowhere near a crisis

I don't believe for a moment that anyone 'loves to hate' Puel. It's all about results. Beat the Baggies and Chelsea and he'll be the bee's knees again - as he was after that run of four wins in Nov/Dec.

If we lose both games with more of this dull, ineffective low-tempo buildup play, however, then of course the pressure on him will intensify. Which is fair enough. Winning football games is what he gets paid for.

Proper judgment on him should come at the end of the season. I wish him well.

I'm not sure anyone truly hates the manager but then again I could be wrong because people didn't like Pearson for some unknown reason.

I think the problem is when puel first came in we were playing a mixed blend of fast football and possession football. It worked beautifully there was a real intent when we got the ball to go for goal. Most of the time anyway. We staryed fast got early goals. We were guilty at times of not trying to kick on from that and sitting on it but we still played good football. Now it's like every time we get it we just go through the motions with no intent nobody making runs nobody trying anything at all. It eventually gets sent out to albrighton who swings a floated cross to a defender to head away. Despite the fact we sold our 2 target men. Just going through the motions  and it's not good.

However we're now the mid table team that isn't under any threat so are just going through the motions. On the beach so to speak. Give him the summer let him get his team together and judge from there.

Well I do.

Dig some post match threads or Puel threads and you'll see even during that the winning run there were still people slagging him off, be it about his interviews or the way we played. It just kept most of the haters quiet for a little while and now they're reaching for their pitchforks again.

Now our Einsteins here want to sack him, because of three draws at home, forgetting that any decent manager wouldn't touch a midtable club, which pulled the trigger on 3 managers in less than two seasons, with a barge pole.
