Stout from the Fownd Brewery. Very nice. Something about Worcestershire breweries and pubs, they seem to be very good at providing solid, proper pints of bitter and stout. One of the last holdouts against the juicy pale ale hordes.

May be an image of ale and beer

Yeah I am not liking the variety of his choices. On his early crawls, he loves a Jazz bar.

That is true and pretty much the only foible with EBG

Pint of bass in the black lion blackfordby. Living in Ashby I can’t believe I’ve never been here, seems an absolute class pub.

In Lincoln today and I’m being lazy. Anyone got a couple of pubs they can recommend? I’m driving

Didn’t get chance but read of the Strugglers which is quite apt considering it’s up the hill towards the Castle. Probably do a Lincoln City game. Been a long time since when went Sincil Bank

A pint of Damm Lemon, trying to replicate the hit from working near Almeria last week, where Estrella de Levante Verna radler hit the spot at the end of a few stressful days.

The standard lager there was a typical Mediterranean number, absolutely fine for the climate, but the Verna's what I decided to bring home with me in tins on the plane. Must have been subconsciously influenced by all the lemon trees around there.

Couple of Braybrooke Helles at Harborough Town yesterday, hope they manage to get a deal there next season. Been great to have them there last few games.

Had a very good day pinting around the football yesterday in Birmingham.

Good argument that a pint of citra in the Welly is one of the best pints of cask beer you're going to get in the U.K.  Must get through a shed ton of it, always hits the spot, always on blinding form and lovely balance.

It is also a veritable character den on Saturdays.

This is what a £20 pint looks like

The rake is class and like many places they do a novelty priced beer for Instagram likes. Akin to posting your bill from Nusr-et or a pic having the £70 coffee at dubai. They make easy money you get social media likes. Everyone’s a winner
