Some excellent casks over the last few days in Marylebone. Barley Mow and Jackalope had the standout selections, and overall great venues.

Had a couple of Abbott Ales yesterday, not bad at all, especially at about £2.60 a pint, local Wetherspoons, which isn't always great for real ale.

They often have decent cheap ales on (not Abbott personally)but I’m usually reticent because I don’t think they’re pulled through often enough, depends on the spoons.

Had a Burton Ales something or other at the Corn Exchange on Friday and it wasn’t quite quite right but for £2.20 one can hardly complain

Went to the Brunswick in Derby for the first time yesterday. What a fantastic pub. It wasn’t very busy though which was a shame.

Did The Alexandra Hotel too which was decent, but a bit tired

Rarely ever rammed in there but always enough ticking it over any time you go in, in my experience.

Had exactly the same on Friday. The 4.7% ale. I thought it was nice

A delectable quad in Sheffield, largely helped by @Stadt list.

Lined the stomach with Avocado and Eggs on Toast in Tamper Coffee

Walk over to the Grapes for a superb Guinness, literally divine, cash only

Three Tuns - so beautiful inside, funk sample classics on the LP, good variety of beer, a real winner - might be up in the All Time favs

The Wellington - Needseed brewery, rolls for a quid, beautiful traditional boozer, next to a tram stop.

Fagan's on the way back for a couple. It was dead. So I wouldn't say it disappointed, so more I am sure this pub is a different beast when busy.

A pure stout day. **** me the train back was a chore, thankfully snoozed through Derbyshire.

I need to lay off it for a bit but I'll have a dabble in Belfast soon, then a break.

I overdid it bank holiday Sunday so never made it into Sheffield, so similarly I’m not drinking for a few weeks.

Had a nice pint of London Prode in the Queens Arms, Leire earlier. Was meant to go to the Dunton Bassett arms but got catfished by their opening hours, shame as it’s a looker.

Takes my Leics total up to 281/770ish

Has anyone actually ever been in OddBar?

Yeah. Amazed it is still open to be honest. If they ever go the building would make a good sports bar.
