I agree with those ratings (and comments), but I would add:-

Maguire 7 as strong as ever

Chilwell 6 so good at going forward, but still naive in defence. Entirely at fault for the Albion goal

Vardy 8 don't EVER sell him, without him (whatever formation we play) we'd be lost. To agree with Lampard on MotD, without doubt he has scored the Goal of the Season

Albrighton 7 SO much better than Gray, although he can never be a wingback (as has been proved in the last few games), he brings so much to our attack

Iheanacho 7 although only on for 15 mins, he completely changed the game for us. Some sublime touches

Diabate 6 on for only a few minutes, but had a wonderful run and cross

I thought he played (successfully) as a wingback during the Great Escape matches?

Puel - 8; Good starting lineup, made the right substitutions at the right times.

Schmeichel - 7; Made a very important save at 1-0 to keep us in the game, didn't have to do much.

Simpson - 7; Reliable, as usual, bombed down the wing more than usual.

Morgan - 6; Didn't fill me with confidence all game. Partly at fault for the goal, made it too easy for Rondon.

Chilwell - 6; Was at fault twice for the goal. Committed himself and was horribly out of position, then got back into position then committed himself again. Redeemed himself in the second half, good cross in for Iheanacho's goal.

Mahrez - 8 (MOTM); Great ball to Vardy for the first goal and tidy finish by himself.

N'didi - 7; Solid as always.

Iborra - 8; Very cool, a nice header for the goal too.

Gray - 6; Didn't do much, decision making is still very poor.

Okazaki - 7; Ran about and caused defence problems all afternoon.

Vardy - 8; Likely to have scored our goal of the season, should have scored at least one more.

Iheanacho - 8; Lovely ball through to Mahrez.

Puel - 7 (stay) Good line-up and right subs this time

Schmeichel - 7 Critical save.

Simpson - 6 Solid job. Even if with little success, you feel that he's doing his best trying to go forward (clearly instructed to do so). Have no gripe with him, could have knocked at the national team if he's been better attacking wise.

Morgan - 6.5 lost Rondon a bit for their goal but made a crucial block at the end of the first half. Good game.

Chilwell - 6 Schoolboy mistake for their first goal. Still wasteful going forward but great assist to Nacho. Grew into the game.

Mahrez - 8 Splendid assist, good goal, main engine for the attacks. Game changer.

N'didi - 7 Passing still lacking.

Iborra - 8 MOTM Chuffed for his goal. Very good performance in the middle.

Gray - 6 Frustrating. Good movements and runs but as always, no team player, no end product.

Okazaki - 5.5 Anonymous. Coming back from an injury though.

Vardy - 7.5 Absolutely sensational goal. Breathtaking finish. Could have done better with Diabate's cross but overall good game.

Iheanacho 8 Made an instant impact. Link-up, assist and goal, everything spot on.

Subs:

Albrighton - 7 Involved in the third goal and lovely corner for Iborra's header.

Diabaté - 6.5 I'd so much like to see more of him.

Opposition:

WBA: absolutely dire, crumbled right after the equalizer and on their way to the Championship. Letting Mahrez unmarked was madness and they paid dearly for it.

Ref was okay. Nice from him to let Morgan get away with murder.

How anyone could give Simpson a 3, yet Chilwell a 7 is just bizarre - he had an absolute shocker!

Pair of sixes for me. Odd how we all watch the same game yet see it different. Beauty of football I suppose. Agree with you on the 3 for Simpson being bizarre. It was a typical Simpson performance nothing spectacular but solid, and put in a decent shift.

Kasper 7 not much to do, but one great save which kept us in the game

Simpson 5 complete lack of creativity and I think a positional liability at times

Morgan 5 at fault for Robson goal too slow now and panicky, bring back Dragovic

Ndidi 7 hope he cements partnership with Iborra

Iborra 7 a bit one paced but great presence probably our best aerial threat also

Gray 5 poor

Mahrez 9 utter class how can we replace him

Shinji 6 not his best

Puel 8 much better tactics but Baggies poor and why do players e.g. Silva who are dropped disappear off the bench

Agree with all those scores.  I would say though, that I have seen Albrighton play wing back well - though not recently !

I thought it was a tale of two halves.  Our defense still looked poor, even with the “few saves”, which are to be ordinary and not special.  Morgan just doesn’t have the confidence he had two years ago when he used to boss the game.  I think his time is up, unfortunately, and needs to be a substitute, never a starter.

Chilwell gets a 4 for the cross and zero for the rest of his performance, Our worst player by miles

Kasper 7 not a lot to do today, but a great save when we were 1-0 down kept us in the game.

Simpson 3 awful game, just no clue what to do when he has the ball.

Morgan 6 a couple of times looked like age was catching up with him. Could have done better  for the goal, redeemed himself with a couple of good blocks.

Maguire 7 his usual commanding self

Chillwell 7 could have done better for the goal we conceded but I thought he got better and better as the game went on and grabbed himself an assist with a great ball.

Gray 4 lots of huff and puff no end product and no tracking back. Looks short on confidence.

Ndidi 7 beast mode

Iborra 8 MotM his composure is what has been missing. Welcome back

Mahrez 8 great assist for Vardy very well taken goal- will be missed next season.

Okazaki-6 great to have him back and chasing looked short of match fitness

Vardy 7 great finish pure class

Abrighton 6 much better option than Gray

Nacho Man 7 can't do much more from the bench than a goal and an assist would love him to start more

Are you for real? 3 for Simpson? Just another Simpson hater wish people would get off his back

Iheanacho was on 30 minutes

Nacho Motm. Before he came on we huffed and puffed without really testing West Brom. The 30mins he was on he assisted Mahrez, scored and created a great chance for Vardy. Like to see him start along with Diabete.

Sorry, yes he did come on at 60 mins. Of course he set up Mahrez for his goal, timed at 62 mins. A great assist, a well taken goal and overall he made a big impact in that 30 mins. I wonder if he'll get the nod ahead of Shinji, on Sunday?

Not sure on why Puel is getting such high marks other than the subs he made.

Starting Gray Morgan Chilwell and Simpson doesn't make for a good team. We were playing the bottom team with 3 wins all season and if not for a brilliant save by Kasper we would have been down 2-0 early on. They had full control attacking down both the left and right side for long periods. Chilwell shows promise going forward but is a liability at LB. Simpson and Morgan have no hope of ever playing a ball out with any consistency from the back. Gray wants to take players on all the time with some success but his passing after if he manages a pass is pretty poor....his decision making is inadequate.

Last 30 minutes saw WBrom sit back which played into our hands...maybe they were hoping for a point.

WHAT S DIFFERENCE ibborra made, he has been what we have been missing, some one who can hold the ball up and pass to a fellow player, would love to see silva play along side him, in a 3 man midfeild with ndidi. it would provide us with heaps better attacking options.

Hi danny.

In what alternate reality would you score a hat-trick? 3 successful forward passes in the attacking half would be a miracle. Burke pulled your pants down and had his way with you last weekend.

3?

Can't remember a time when he was beaten. Solid game, just like all the defence and all of the team really.

and was very definitly overlapping more and offering an alternatve, his final ball when attacking needs work, but you can say that of 40% of our side.

I think he has stepped up to what Puel is obviously asking and has maintained the defensive duties.

Puel - 8; the team was just as i wouldve picked and made the right moves at the right time

Schmeichel - 8; Great save at 1-0 and pretty faultess thereafter

Simpson - 7; Defensively very good, definitely overlapping more, good game.

Morgan - 7; seemed to be beaten a few times by Rondon, but overall kept a solid game

Chilwell - 7; mistake cost goal... but came good after that

Mahrez - 8 - was Mahrez :)

N'didi - 7; always on the ball..time to improve the attacking ball.

Iborra - 9 - (MOTM) ice cool, opened the game, brought others in and made space.

Gray - 6; Young player having a slightly difficult time at the moment, give him a couple of games in the 23s to get the confidence back

Okazaki - 6 - usually im a huge fan, but (understandably) off the pace and not up to his usual standard

Vardy - 8; 7.5 for the goals and the running .5 for winding them up :) -

Iheanacho - 8; positioning was excellent, passing tidy...signs of what we hoped we had bought :)
